This beautiful new hotel is right on the lake and away from the bustle of town. The room was very large, with a balcony and beautiful lake view. Nice bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Staff was more than helpful, going out of their way and remembering us each time we approached them. Hated to leave. more

This was a truly amazing hotel in every way apart from one - it is too far to walk into Queenstown, about a 3km walk down/up a hill. Did it one day, but that was enough! The restaurant was absolutely fantastic - don't miss it. more

Stayed in a three bedroom apartment and it was amazing. Unbelievable views, great balcony, beautiful living area with gas fireplace, great furniture and comfortable beds. Master bedroom was awesome with own lounge area and spa bath. Could not have asked for anything more. more

My daughters booked this hotel for me and my husband as a surprise birthday present. We were immediately welcomed by the staff on arrival and made to feel very special indeed. The apartment was HUGE !! the fixtures the fittings and the views are to die for. We made use of the facilities and particularily enjoyed the dinner in the... more

I was at The Rees with my husband and two friends. What a great place to head back to after a days skiing. We had a two bedroom place, nice big lounge for us to have a glass of wine at the end of the day. Loved the fireplace. Abit out of town but it didn't cost much in a... more

My jaws dropped when I entered our room at the Rees in Queenstown. It was simply beautiful. King-sized bed, the finest quality linens...flat screen tv, jacuzzi bathtub, glass shower, retractable electric blinds, full view of the lake - note that EVERY room at the Rees is lakeside, the list of amenities goes on....what really made my jaw drop was the... more

Our stay at the Rees was good - the rooms are nice and we found all the fittings and linen to be of high quality. We had a two bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment which was a good size. The views were great and although not in the town centre, its not too far a drive or about $12 NZ in... more

We stayed at The Rees apartments for a weeks break in August, The apartments are of a european standard but the service is NOT!! A number of reviews do mention space as a problem but I'm under the impression that each apartment differs, ours had ample room for 4 adults. In saying that we did requested a Spa bath and... more
