This is a backpackers, so families and those wanting a quiet night beware. That being said, young people and those used to backpacking should be fine here. Pros: the view is incredible, the rooms are warm enough without blankets if you know how to work the heaters, you have everything you need in your room for a simple stay Cons:... More

The apartment we stayed in was amazing we had a beautiful view of Queenstown and staff were on point with everything. there were ski rentals onsite and the atmosphere was just fun and welcoming. only downside was walking up this really steep hill but hey at least my buttocks are toned. overall accommodation was brilliant . there were activities advertised... Bedrooms were cold and cramped. We were in a attic room with vertical stairs. I couldn't even stand up when I was upstairs. Limited bedding provided. 1 sheet and 1 tin "blanket" Not warm enough during -6 degree nights. Was sleeping under a window and so I caught a cold which gave me a bad experience. Up a giant hill,... I stayed here with my class for a few nights, everyone was nice and helped us with directions of Queenstown. However our room was clean and tidy until we found some rubbish under the beds and the blanket was very thin and light but we did have a wall heater on the whole time so I wasn't freezing. It was... Do not take your family to this place. This is a backpacker style lodge. WE arrived tired from our flight to find there was no booking for us. Luckily I kept the emails from booking.com to show my confirmation. It all went down hill from here. though the staff were friendly about the mishap, the room (2 bdr apartment) we... More

This lodge was ok most of the staff were helpful and nice and they had reasonable facilities such as a large kitchen, pool table etc however you were not allowed to use the common room after 10, abousluetly no noise of any kind after 10 and we were not allowed to use the spa pool, the mattress in the rooms... It was Easter holiday, we arrived Reavers Lodge on 3 April 2015, but they said that our booking was not on their list. Their receptionist acknowledge receiving another similar booking screw up. Also, when we were in the reception area another woman also having a similar experience. Reavers was failing to respond to booking agent’s emails. During such a busy... More

We arrived to Queenstown looking for a relaxed and remote place to stay not too near the noisy center of town. Reavers lodge is an easy 10 minutes walk away from town and is very quiet and lovely. We had an excellent view from our rooms, and pleasant staff members who were kindly willing to help with anything. In the... More

Small bedroom with double bed & kitchenette. Microwave, fridge, toaster & kettle. Very small bathroom with shower. Another double bed on mezzanine floor with less than five foot clearance. Plenty of on site car parking but very steep access to property. Great views from communal balcony. No maid service. Large common room where limited free self service breakfast provided.

This only good thing about this place is the view from the top level rooms. What their website fails to tell you is that it is a BACK-PACKERS, with loud drunken behaviour that goes into the early hours of the morning. Our "loft" unit was filthy and tiny, the beds were the worst that we had in our entire holiday... More
