Stayed for 14 days. The staff were amazing, incredibly helpful, extremely welcoming and just generally on point humans. Hot tub was always steaming and a great way to meet other reavers lodge backpackers Everything is really casual, carefree and perfect chill environment for a queenstown holiday Beds could have a little more cushioning...but hey what you pay is what you... We stayed here for a week on a week long snow trip package, exactly what you should expect for the very reasonable price. Room small but sufficient for our needs, heater did a good job of heating the room. Ensuite bathroom fine. Bed very soft which caused a few backaches. Basic facilities. We stayed 3rd floor up which had awesome... More

We stayed in Reavers on one of the Oz Snow ski packages. A very basic package, but considering the awesome price compared to many of the other queenstown packages when coming from Australia, we couldn't expect too much. Staff were always friendly and happy to assist - and didnt mind a party when it came to the group dinner and... More

3 guys, 3 beds, 1 room, that's all we needed. As we only needed a bed for cheeky naps and a place to lay our head of a night, it was perfect. We went to Queenstown in peak season for Boarding, Beers and Banter. Reavers was perfect for that. Just a 15 minute walk or 20 minute stumble from the... More

I stayed here with friends in a shared dorm for a week. It was a tiny room with two bunk beds which squeaked loudly every time you roll over also the mattress was uncomfortable and the springs dig into your ribs and back which made it impossible to sleep plus you're only given one thin blanket and the wall heater... I'm writing this after a sleepless night I can barely believed happened. Our room was gross; clippings of toenails were on the floor and pubic hair was found on the bed. I understand that not every room will be perfect, but this was a nightmare. From the rickety bunk beds, to dirty floors, the list is endless. The mattresses are... More

I stayed in a shared dorm. It was okay but there are certainly better hostels closer to town. The room I stayed in was small, with little space to keep my belongings and no lockers. The people in my room were also long staying term, so it was a little uncomfortable and woke me up with early starts to work!... More

I stayed here for the first week of july this year year (2015) and absolutely loved it there. Getting off our plane the staff were already there waiting for us in the terminal and took us straight to a shuttle bus and back to the lodge. The room we had was great, incredible views of the famous Remarkables, clean and... More

My sister and I booked Reavers Lodge through STA Travel, (who are a whole different story) and after reading some of these reviews, didn't expect much. That said, our stay was not as horrific as some families', and certainly not as "awesome" as other backpackers. It is definitely not accommodation for families, and those who enjoyed their stay are probably... More
