This only good thing about this place is the view from the top level rooms. What their website fails to tell you is that it is a BACK-PACKERS, with loud drunken behaviour that goes into the early hours of the morning. Our "loft" unit was filthy and tiny, the beds were the worst that we had in our entire holiday... More

Two of us shared a standard-double/twin room for $99 which included breakfast (a fair price for Queenstown, I guess). The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The room was big enough for two. Heating was adequate. A few repairs were needed. Tiny bathroom with no ventilation. Shower floor had scum around it and there was no soap in the dispenser.... More

A very poor experience when we recently visited. I travelled with my wife and 2 kids recently and was hoping to spend a nice relaxing weekend in Queenstown. When we went to check in, we were told that there were no room available - our reservation had not been passed through from the agent (even though I had booked a... More

Very good value! well-equipped, clean and big loft for 99 dollars! 10-15 minute walk is fine :) breakfast included hopefully good as well. Unfortunately there is an Internet charge. we stayed here twice, because we liked it that much

The room was decent, there was a tv which is always a bonus. This place is known for its views and all I could see out of the window was a goat. I mean I was happy getting to see a goat because that was just completely bizarre. The shower was okay and the bed was okay. There was free... More

The first thing you realize arriving at the reavers lodge is the absolutely stunning view, situated not just in the heart of queenstown (10 minutes walk to town), but close to everything, the supermarkets, beach, queenstown gardens, restaurants and of course the nightlife are in a short walking distance.. even if you are still far enough to relax in your... The beds are horrible, the shower while being very water efficient is like standing under a dribble. The bathroom is tiny. If the beds were better I would rate it a 3, and would probably go back. Main room was decently large with a kettle and a few cups and spoons and tea/coffee. The receptionist was very hard to understand.

We didn't realize when we booked this accomodation that it was a backpackers lodge. We had booked for 3 nights & I asked if we could get a refund because I knew my elderly parents would hate it , but was told that wasn't possible. So we endured 2 nights of drunken loud behaviour & foul language but left after that.

The Reavers Lodge, Queenstown is situated about a fifteen to twenty minute walk from the centre of the town, it is on a hillside accessed by having to climb a very steep hill, you have to be fit ! It is clean and tidy and is good for people on an budget, breathtaking view if you have a room at... More

We were doing a driving holiday of the South Island and were looking forward to a 3 night stay in beautiful Queenstown. The moment we arrived at Reavers Lodge we'd realized that this was a backpackers lodge (photo's deceiving )The rooms were small , no chairs, table, tiniest bathroom not even a toaster. Because it was a very busy weekend there were no... More
