Reavers is nothing to get excited about. I stayed there two nights What is there to like? They have Wifi, they have cordless jug and a fridge, a mirror which doesn't fog and it is a reasonably modern build, and is 1 kilometer from the middle of town, a small breakfast is included. A spa pool is available but at... More

Room was poor and ridiculously overpriced. We had thought we were getting two double beds but one turned out to be a bunk. The other bed was two single mattresses pushed together to make a double and situated on a mezzanine floor. You had to climb up a very steep ladder and then nearly crawl to the bed. Very limited... My girlfriend and I stayed here with 2 friends. For the price we paid we found Reavers Lodge to be exceptional value given the time of year (start of the new year). The room was comfortable, clean, had adequate storage for luggage and even came with a bar fridge!!! The staff were only always happy and went above and beyond... More

Stayed one night with a family of 4 (2 adults, 3yr old and 2yr old). Had said I wanted 2 rooms. Ample parking but make sure you have good breaks. Were given 1 room with bunks and a double bed, tv above bed (not sure where you're meant to sit to watch it) with separate toilet and shower. Bathroom was... More

We stayed at Reavers for our first night in Queenstown and was not impressed - our room on the third level was dirty, couch was full of springs, freezer was completely iced over, heater didn't work, loft bed meant you hit your head every time you sat up in bed, and the shower was barely a trickle (even stopped a... So bad we had to laugh. No water, let alone luke warm water to shower under. Four hours after complaining water was also gone from our kitchen and toilet. The afterhours number rang in the reception next door! What staff could be found told us they were on their day off. Wont mention the 1.1m stud height in the loft,... More

The property is average and is located ~1-1.5km away from the town centre (Shotover street) and farther away from the waterfront. The main problem is a very steep 100m uphill walk after which this property is located. While is is generally very pleasant to walk around in queenstown, this uphill walk was quite a pain. The property had a self... More

Was a good stay at Reavers Lodge. The service from the staff was excellent, especially as it was the New Year period - they were very accommodating for all of the guests. The hotel is location up a steep hill but is only 5-10 mins from the town centre and most of the rooms will have a lovely view of... More

It is conveniently located but situated on a steep hill. Though the walk is not long but it is steep so it is quite tiring when carrying luggage. The "saving grace" is the nice view and friendly staff. The room is acceptable but the toilet is too small. The room door does not seem to be closed tightly as people... More
