Quest is definitely the place to stay in Invercargill. Nice old building, well refurbished but staying in character. Apparently some more (minor) restorations are planned. I had an executive studio, featuring beautiful leather furnishings and a large bathroom - i think the regular studios are missing the leather? The Quest is as central as you can get in Invercargill. For those who don't know Quest is an Australasian business accommodation chain, specialising in longer stays. My husband and I had a wonderful 2 night stay here. The hotel is located in the old post office building right in the centre of town. Great location but our room was still lovely and quiet. Room was not huge but really nice decor and absolutely everything we could need was provided. All nice, clean and modern. Great shower.... more
