Here just for overnight stay. We arrived about 6pm to find no one in reception and had to go looking, not a great start in the pouring rain. Nice friendly welcome though. We stopped here for one night in January, we were touring the south island and found this Hotel a very handy stop off point. We were made to feel very welcome, and the owners were very helpful. A group of us stayed here for two nights while our children were competing in an equestrian event in Invercargill. We found the owners and staff to be friendly and helpful, and the rooms were warm, clean and comfortable. We spent one night here in March 2005. We stayed in a one-bedroom unit for NZ$75. Though not much to look at from the outside, the interior was a warm, pleasant space.
