I had to stay here because my other motel was full - but I am pleased this is where I ended up. The office staff were really nice and helpful. I got lost due to road works and they worked out where I was (I am not good with directions and had been driving around trying to get around lots... More

Finding a nice place to stay in Invercargill in my experience is not easy. This place is impeccable if you like motels. Guess I'm more of a hotel person. To me - very average in my experience. Pleasant and friendly.

We received a warm welcome and given some great ideas on what to do locally. We came to Invercargill to see the fastest indian and appreciated the heads up on other attractions. The room was lovely, comfortable and spacious. Lots of nice touches. Ray & Dawn are helpful and recommended some great places to eat. Would stay again and recommend... More

Came to Invercargill to give a lecture, and they put me up at the Tower Lodge. Wow. First of all, the room was Like New -- spotless and flawless, and beautifully appointed. A whole stove and oven, every single possible cooking thing (plunger, pots and pans, corkscrew), three couches and a nice tv, spa bath, and all spacious. But also... More

This motel gets excellent ratings and it is easy to see why. We stayed in March 2014 in a one bedroom unit for one night, but would happily have stayed here longer. Ray on the front desk was welcoming and informative. The room was well furnished, clean and comfortable. Free wi-fi too, which is always welcome. If you are looking... More

Great choice of units, excellent and friendly staff. This motel is in a good location and is well priced. the units are well furnished and have all of the facilities to make you stay fairly self sufficient. Spent three nights their and certainly will look to stay their again when in Invercargill.

Stayed here in March 2014. The owners were very helpful, the Motel room was well appointed with a lot of little personal touches. Nicely positioned near the town (but not in it) and near the most spectacular park (about 200 acres). We would stay there again without hesitation because of the personal touch of the owners.

I honestly didn't expect much from a motel and decided I'd be happy if it was just clean, but the Tower Lodge exceeded my expectations in every way. I was greeted with milk and cookies and a map at the front desk and Ray answered all my questions and even added some suggestions of his own, which ended up making... More

I had two overnight stays at this motel and it exceeded my expectations each time. The rooms were spotless and the facilities excellent. The most outstanding thing was the owners' helpfulness in assisting me in my travels. I did not expect such personal service and it was wonderful.
