We only stayed the one night and found it to be very well run, good clean kitchen and outside barbeque and good showers etc. Good size area to park the camper and easy walk to everything without being crambed.

We have just had the pleasure of staying once again at this camping ground and as usual found it a lovely place to stay. The place was immaculate. The relaxed atmosphere was great. And the fact it is very dog friendly makes it great. The little touches like real hand towels in the bathrooms and liquid soap!. There is a... More

We stayed here in our caravan for two nights and had water and grey waste on our site. We had a massive site for the caravan, were able to put out our awning and still had room for the car. The facilities were first class except for hand drying provision. All there was was a small hand towel for every... More

A nice campground with comfortable, decent-sized tent-sites. Service was friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean and well-maintained. Remember your earplugs if you plan to sleep in... The nearby sheep started to make noise at first light when we stayed here (not that it bothered us, because we were early risers anyways).

After a long trip from Rakaia to Invercargill we hunted through CamperMate app and found Amble Inn. We arrived very late the proprietor braved the cold and showed us where we could park our motorhome. We found the service to be very friendly and giving of information to the area. The toilet and shower block were clean and warm. The... More

we stayed 1 night at the camping ground with our campervan. Although we arrived quite late the owner came with us and showd us around. showers, kitchen and toilets were speckless, with lots of hot water. the whole place is very tidy, well kept. Had a chat with some people who stayed in a cabin and they were just as... More

Dirty, cobwebs everywhere inside. Grease on heat pump, microwave, etc Wind whistles through gaps in the joins where walls and ceiling joints don't meet as shortcuts taken when building, see pictures. Bad tempered when asked to clean it or supply products so we could clean it. Verbally abusive and threatening. When questioned about dog hair on carpet and beds, told... More

Stayed in a standard cabin, slept 4. Comfortable double bed. TV but no fridge or jug & toaster. However, kitchen not too far away and very clean & tidy. Bathroom very spacious with 3 toilets & showers. Again, very clean & tidy! Lovely rural setting complete with duck pond & doves! Only 5 minutes from Tay St. Would stay there... More

My spouse and I met up with a friend for south NZ and in Invercargill we looked around at other places but found a lot of other holiday parks were overpriced. We stayed one night at the Amble On Inn and rented a cabin. The cabin had a double or queen (I don't remember) and a set of bunks. It... More

I actually stayed at Amble On Inn before October 2009 with my family and dog. Was intending to stay for 1 night only but on the second day at that time I asked my dad whether we could stay for a few more nights. He said yes and I was very happy. Other places did not allow us to stay... More
