We have just returned from a fantastic weekend away staying at McCauley Glen Boutique Bed & Breakfast. It was first class from when we arrived with piping hot scones just out of the oven awaiting us. The room was superb with great comfortable beds, well set out with everything one would want or need. The breakfast can only be described... More

Outstanding experience with great beds and food. Suggest that anyone staying try the home made apricot jam (If we didnt eat it all) Mary and Pat the owners also made some great suggestions as to activities on the peninsula which turned up thrumps. A truly great B and B. Thanks

We stayed two nights at McAuley Glen and enjoyed Mary and Pat's hospitality. I wish we could have stayed longer! The B&B and the entire Otago Peninsula was a highlight of our two week trip. We booked last minute and despite them not expecting anyone for the weekend, Mary greeted us warmly on arrival, gave us some of her lovely... More

What a wonderful welcome from Mary and Pat. Our room was well appointed and had lots of little extras. Very comfortable bed. The under floor heating in the bathroom was a nice suprise. Mary's breakfasts have to be experienced to be believed and leave you feeling satisfied all day. Mary and Pat had lots of information and suggestions on seeing... More

We had a two night stay at McAuley Glen and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of Mary and Patrick. Our room was extremely comfortable with a little private patio which unfortunately due to the weather we didn't get the chance to enjoy. We were given a lovely welcome from Mary with a grateful cup of tea and beautiful home made scones,... More

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of January 2014. The house is surrounded by the most beautiful garden. The room was excellent and very comfortable. The hosts make you feel welcome and provide an excellent breakfast. The local pub serves good evening meals up to 21:00. There is a nature trip available where you can see penguins,... More

Me and my girlfriend Ailing, love Bed and Breakfast Places and we were very fortunate to have picked "McAuley Glen Boutique Bed & Breakfast" while visiting the Otago Peninsula in Dec 2013. Our hosts Mary and Patrick were very warm hosts and they made us feel very welcome during our 2 nights stay at their home. They provided a lot... More

I remember with great pleasure the three days of last november that I had the opportunity to enjoy the splendid hospitality that I was favored by Mary y Pat, hosts of that beautiful garden and hotel in Portobello, Dunedin, in the Southern island of New Zealand. I express my most felt gratitude for their finest attentions and their great company... More

Lovely, comfortable room - a lot of effort has been made to make it special. Very accommodating, helpful and friendly hosts, helped us book a couple of local trips to see the wildlife. Breakfasts were like a feast!
