Owner was very friendly and helpful. The views were great, the room clean, comfy and well equipped. This hotel was just ok. Very average accomodation and basic appointed rooms. The bathroom fan is a bit annoying as it is always turning on by itself. The hotel is in a good location though, right on the beautiful peninsula. There is also a good cafe for breakfast right next door. More

We stayed for 3 nights in a queen studio room & thoroughly enjoyed it. The views from the units are lovely, they are clean & have very useful free wi-fi.. The owners are helpful More

We stayed here for one during during our trip around the south island. It was one of the best places we stayed. Nice big room, very clean, great view. The only downside was Portobello is quite a small town so when we tried to get breakfast Sunday morning, nothing was open until 9am. More
