Recently spent 4 lovely nights there. The check-in was fast and efficient, in fact over the 4 days we were there, every member of Staff that we met were super friendly and helpful. The room we had, (on the top floor), which I think had just been renovated, was spotless and of a good size, and the 2 Double Beds... More

Rather underwhelming experience with almost all staff members...check in experience disappointing in terms of no personality, and everything felt like a major effort (not naturally customer friendly). Room is clean, functional. Breakfast is a let down.

We originally booked this hotel for 2 nights, ended up staying for 3. Staff at check in were excellent. The hotel rooms were pretty much the same as would expect at Mercure properties, it was in a good position for getting to everything, with off site valet parking available. Close to restaurants,public transport and the i site (tourist information site).

The staff were lovely - High praise for their attitude and service. No complaints at all. The room was very small, no wardrobe even,. The bed was comfy but the sleep was disturbed by loud noises coming from the lift (right next door). Quite handy to town and casino. All in all, not too bad.

While staff were friendly and helpful, the room was a total dump, with very small and leaky bathroom. The side panels on shower/bath unit were falling off and the wash basin was cracking. We decided to stay in Dunedin on a trip from Queenstown to Christchuch. Worried about availability of parking but we were pleasently surprised with the central location and abundance of free after hours car parking on the street. *The room I stayed in was very spacoius but had an appalling view out the window of a lift shaft and wall. * Also the pillows on the beds were too soft and the alternatives in the wardrobe were the same.

We enjoyed our stay here, the position suited us well, easy walk to local attractions and loved the heritage.The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well presented. Will come again and stay here. Thank you Aaron and staff.
