I stayed here on my roadtrip aorud the NZ South Island, what a place! Convenient location, good service, friendly staff, free wi-fi, nice views. Everything worked, no complaints, except for the steep road up after dinner...;-)

This b&b comprises 2 houses with about 8 rooms. Rooms are big and airy (flower room had some nice view out over the harbour). Some rooms have ensuites so there is rarely queues for the bathroom for the cheaper rooms that dont. Its only about 2-3 minutes walk down the the central octagan yet the area was surpisngly quiet, with... More

I hate to give a bad review as it is messing with someone's livelihood - and running a B&B is tough work. So I will start with the positive - it was clean and convenient to town with off street parking and had a cute lollipop on the bed when we arrived. They also kindly allowed us to leave our... More

Not a usual place, rooms different from each other, have a lot of character. Close to the city, didn't move my car. Nice breakfast, with a lot of fresh fruit. 2 beautiful cats live in the house, not for allergic people.

Stayed here for 1 night whilst travelling the South Island. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds that were warm enough, help yourself breakfast with quite a good choice of food and drink, great location for night life (5min walk) but away from centre so as not to be disturbed, good value for money. There were kitchen facilities to store and make food... More

We were very disappointed with our stay here. We were greeted (eventually) by a student who was working there who went through the motions os showing us our room etc. Our room was in the building next door. To be fair it was a large victorian room with lots of character, however that night the room was very cold and... More

We travelled to Dunedin to watch the rugby league test, Kiwi's v. England at Forsyth Barr Stadium. Think the whole of Dunedin was booked out for this night. Hulmes Court was a very nice place to stay, quiet and not too far for us to walk to the Stadium. Booked 2 rooms, one was larger than the other but both... More

Grand old colonial NZ Villa with great facilities, close to central city, very comfortable and loads of personality. Free wifi and laundry facilities.Good breakfast included. We are great walkers so the steep streets were not a problem walking down to the city centre and back up again. Great place to explore the inner city. Free, off street parking.

This sympathetically renovated establishment is a credit to the owners. Providing a feeling of past times this B and B was a delight to stay in with wonderful self serve continental breakfast. Our room was sunny, had views and a huge bathroom. Perfectly located a 5 min walk from city centre it was the ideal place to stay when visiting... More

Stayed here on a very cold night in July. Very cold by Sydney's standards but pretty much par for course weather for Dunedin this time of year. My room, 'Victorian' was written on the keys, was in the annex next door. Huge room with very high 14' ceilings. There was an air conditioning unit but it simply couldn't get the... More
