Lovely location opposite Dunedin Gardens and close to Supermarket. Good parking available. Rooms are generous with a 2 seater sofa and door opening to garden. Very comfortable bed. Only let down was having no electric blanket on bed for the winter season.

Thanks for your lovely review. The staff really appreciate your feedback and it will serve as encouragement for us to keep up our standards. It's true the hotel no longer provides electric blankets on beds but if you are feeling the pinch of winter, contact our Reception team - they have access to the good old NZ hot water bottle... The place is good though it is outside the main parts of the city. The rooms and beds are comfortable. There is a botanical garden just across the road which is a nice place to visit. There is nothing else to visit nearby. They don't have complementary breakfast including the tariff. There are Macdonalds and Pizzahut on a walking distance.

The booking was made by work so arrived no expectations. Can't comment on value for money but feel very satisfied with our stay. Hard to point out anything majorly wrong so that's a great change when travelling a lot. Rooms nice and comfortable, with table and chairs plus couch. Great range of lighting options throughout the room, bright to relaxing.... More

There's always a warm greeting at check-in at the Dunedin Leisure Lodge. The rooms are comfortable, exceptionally clean, functional and cosy. Nothing is a problem and the staff in every department are obliging and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. A great dining room too with a good food and beverage menu. A regular hotel on... More

Stayed here for at least 4 times. I love the set out of the hotel. We can park right outside our room. Came here last winter with my 6 year old baby, was really handy as we managed to keep the baby very warm in the hotel. The only down side of this hotel is the internet charge is a... More

Checked in later in the afternoon. Room was ready staff welcoming . Room was warm and the bed very comfortable. Very clean bathroom and room. I thought it seemed a little dated walking through the hotel hallways but it was clean and smart. Very relaxing and quiet place . Close to the Botanical Gardens for a walk. Bar is small... More

Attended our grandsons graduation in dunedin on 09/05/2015 with our daughter and husband. We had had a very long day leaving timaru at 7am, After the parade and capping we finally managed to get to our hotel at 6pm very very tired. On arrival our rooms were upgraded to a corporate suite with an adjoining room. We only had an... More

Our room on the ground floor was fine and allowed us to sit outside looking into the pleasant gardens. Coach parties use this hotel frequently and get priority. The bar service was very slow and not enough seating for the number of guests frequenting the hotel. The food was buffet style but was often undercooked to what we would expect... More
