“Basic & affordable”

Spent a night here, room was small but adequate, bathroom fine with good water pressure. Room was warm, bed very soft and we slept well. “Budget alternative in Dunedin”

Stayed this week on business for 2 nights. My usual place Livingspace now closed. The room was quite worn, not particularly clean, and fairly noisy from the room above on both mornings. “Great place”

This hotel is older style but all rooms we have had have been updated, spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The cost is fabulous and the added bonus of breakfast is wonderful. We have stayed two times now and definitely will again soon. The inner garden is spectacular. Staff friendly and efficient. Well done Cargills!

“Creaky”

This hotel is very tired. The fridge in the bedroom was very noisy and the upstairs walkway, which looks close to demolition time, was very creaky and loud when in use. However, the rooms are large and the bed comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful and it's only a fairly short walk to the CBD.
