This stay concluded our Rail Trail journey (mother and I)The homestead was beyond beautiful - roaring fire, beautiful old furniture, warm, and the bed (in the French and English rooms) The rooms were absolutely amazing! The food and hospitality were perfect!!! We will be back for a country retreat, that is for certain!

What really makes this place wonderful is the very welcoming Netty, who went above and beyond for our visit and took us to Middlemarch.... More

What a wonderful place to stay. Lovely themed rooms, clean, inviting. Gorgeous location away from everything. Great Central Otago climate. Real Kiwi hospitality with a great cooked breakfast. No complaints at all!

This is a luxury experience in a fully renovated 100 year old stone homestead. All bedrooms are furnished with a theme and have gorgeous bathrooms. An open fire in the lounge adds to ambience as does the huge windows with accompanying drapes looking out on a wide landscape of high country plateau. One can do your own catering or have... More
