Our visit to Glendinning House was the final leg of our 6 week visit to NZ and was certainly the jewel in the crown of our many B&B experiences along the way. This wonderful early Edwardian property has many beautifully retained architectural features and is immaculate and tastefully decorated throughout. The bedrooms are large, luxurious, light and comfortable. Our room... More

We stayed for 3 nights in February 2014 at the end of a three week trip (our first visit) to New Zealand. We stayed in excellent small lodges and B&Bs with very nice hosts but Jocelyn and Sandy were particularly helpful and thoughtful. For example, one morning we said that our plans included going that night to see little blue... More

An overnight as a couple in the Blue Room, and single grown son in the Yellow. Very comfortable. Delightful and generous hosts, Jocelyn and Sandy, considered every last detail. The rooms were spotless, linen pressed to within an inch of its life, abundant fruit bowl, coffee, tea and bottled water. The room was replenished several times during the short stay.... More

Recommend this B&B if you want a great sleep, relaxing and luxurious rooms immaculately presented. Superb breakfast. Sandy & Jocelyn are down to earth and welcoming. A little distance from the centre of Dunedin however view from rooms is stunning on a clear day

From the first step into Glendinning House we felt like royalty. Jocelyn and Sandy were fantastic hosts, making our stay wonderful. This was my first experience staying at a B&B and I'm definitely coming back.

From Jocelyn's initial warm and genuine greeting to Sandy's friendly willingness to chauffeur us to various dinner spots, we were spoilt one way and another the whole time we were there. Glendinning House was the best by far of our B&B experiences during our self-drive tour around the beautiful Sth Island. Nothing was too much trouble to our hosts, even... More

Well situated within walking distance of the lovely city of Dunedin, elegant Glendinning House offers the traveller a wonderful home from home experience. On arrival we were greeted warmly by our hosts Jocelyn and Sandy and offered delicious and very welcome refreshment after our long flight. We were shown to the blue room which was extremely comfortable with magnificent views... More

The house is impressive, the rooms lovely, the bed linens luxurious, but the real treat here is the people --- hosts Jocelyn and Sandy. We were there only two nights, but left feeling that we had been cared for in a way unlike at any other place we have stayed. Jocelyn greeted us on arrival with an offer of refreshment,... More

We thought we'd fallen down the rabbit hole and into the lap of luxury when we realized what the Glendinning House had in store for us! We've been called many things but never "discerning" which is how a taxi driver described us for our choice of lodging! And he was so right. Sandy and Jocelyn welcomed us into their beautiful... From the moment we arrived we could not have been made to feel more welcome. We stayed in the blue room which was huge and so comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. Jocelyn made sure we had restaurant bookings for both nights we were there and recommended places for us to visit. The breakfasts by the roaring... More
