We stayed 3 nights in January and right from our arrival we were treated to professional friendly service. We had arranged a very late check in (01:30) and the instructions they gave us were exactly what happened and could not be faulted. The room was fresh, good size and very clean. Anytime we asked the reception for anything they were... More

Location is ok but the apartment is noisey with poor security. When I booked I requested a quiet room and got a room on the 1 st floor right on the tram stop. So I get all the noise from above and below....why do they bother to ask you want you want! Also the whole floor has access to the... More

We booked a 2 bedroom apartment for a recent 2 night stay. The apartment was much larger than expected, opening to a balcony that overlooked the undercover shopping mall. The tram even runs right up the mall, beneath our window. We had two separate bedrooms and bathrooms, with a large living area and kitchen between the two. Plenty of space... More

I stayed at Quest for a night on a business trip in January and was upgraded to a suite room, which was basic but spacious. The room faced the atrium and was quiet. The king bed is 2 king singles but was comfortable if you didn't lie where they join. Opportunities for improvement include better air circulation in the bathroom.... More

... but unfortunately I can't stand it. Its my own fault, I should have made sure I booked a place with airconditioning. I forgot, which is why I'm sitting here at 11pm almost melting. Despite having all the windows and doors open (as they have been for 3 days) it is over 28C/83F and not showing any sign of cooling... More

Quest is in the centre of Christchurch within walking distance to most attractions. It was an enormous 2 bed 2 bath apartment with seperate area for kids. While Quest is basic but good accomodation, it is rather lacking in atmosphere. The beds were comfortable as were the pillows, the shower excellent and plentiful. The rooms were clean and adequately serviced.... More

We stayed at the Quest in Christchurch from the 12th Jan to the 19th. Travelling in a party of three we had at first booked the one bedroom room with a foldout bed. Our initial impression was that this would not be enough for all of us so we went to reception and requested a two bedroom room. (Not saying... More

We stayed 2 days in total. 1 day on our arrival and another 1 day before our flight back. Due to the Christmas and New Year holidays some of the establishments around the hotel were closed. Hotel is clean and centrally located. There's a minimart nearby which opened from 7am to 11pm. Think this hotel is more geared for short... More

Excellent, well located, quiet, clean with a great bed and good service. Certainly great value for money and each time I have stayed here it has been consistently good. The location is superb and despite being in a busy area is dead quiet. Would definitely return

The mood in this establishment matched the gloomy feel of this devastated city. The 2 bedroom apartment we had was very spacious but the sparse amount of furniture made it feel empty and sad. The beds were very comfortable but the room had a dark, clinical feel. The staff were polite but not really engaged. Pleasant but not overly friendly.... More
