Stayed here for 2 nights each side of a tour of the South Island. Bess the manager was very helpful and let us leave some of our stuff with her so that we did not have to drag it around on our tour. Our room was clean and all facilities were new and the beds were very comfy. On our... More

We stayed just for one night in a one bedroom apartment which was perfect for the two of us. Great location walking distance to anywhere in the city area if you want to visit the shops or bars. Is also right next to the tram. Staff were very friendly and happy to help. There is car parking underneath for extra... More

Christchurch is "rising from the ashes" and again is becoming a gorgeous city. In the middle of the city is Quest with the best service and great facilities let alone position. Tram at the door and good parking. Wished we could have stayed longer. We had two interconnecting apartments. THROUGH PEOPLE /TOURISTS GOING THERE WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

My husband and I stayed here on 9-10/8/14 for leisure. The room size was decent, everything was neat and tidy, the staff was nice, but it was nothing special. It was surprisingly difficult to find because of all the traffic diversions post earthquake. The bed was saggy, and the chairs in the room were falling apart. We thought the parking... More

We stayed in a studio room and it was perfect for what we wanted, comfy bed, great shower and a few kitchen amenities. Location is good, all the other hotels are in the same block. The limited wifi was a bit disappointing. Late checkin was no hassle for them either. Would recommend this place.

I can highly recommend the Quest Apartments in Christchurch. Check-in was a breeze and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The studio room I had was a good size and it was handy to have tea/coffee facilities and a microwave. And it was very peaceful! There are a few little cafes near by and nice restaurants within walking distance.... More

Stayed one night on business in the middle of a freezing winter. The room was large and well supplied with everything. The wall heater was very efficient at keeping out the winter cold. The hotel is centrally situated right in the middle of the City. Will certainly return.

Stayed here for several days, the room was large and facilities adequate, however, we did come back after a day out to find that our room door was left wide open by cleaning staff. The other problem was the noise level at time - internally and externally. Understandably prior to earthquake other buildings would have muffled outside noises, that privilege... More

I stayed with two colleagues for a recent work conference. We were very happy with the size of the rooms (we stayed in a three bedroom two bathroom + separate toilet room) and the quality. The location is excellent, a few minutes walk from the cardboard cathedral, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was very reasonably priced... More

The location is the best thing about this room. Makes the city very walkable. It was clean and tidy and recently refurbished - good bathroom. Very few kitchen facilities though, not really a studio (which is what was advertised). No kitchenette, just a small fridge and kettle. The parking garage can be a little tight. We heard our neighbours come... More
