The hotel is situated within 5 minute walk to the Container Shopping Mall. The staff were very professional and friendly and interested in our comments. The Quest offers underground parking at a cost, but better than parking on the road. Our room was very quite, clean, well appointed and roomy. The hotel also offers free Wi-Fi for an hour and... Stayed here for 3 days and found this hotel not only central in the city but convenient to restaurants and the Trams enabling touring of the city easy. Room was of good quality and we slept well. As the Hotel is built above the Tram Junction we could catch a Tram each day to start our tours as this links... More

My partner and l stayed in a one bedroom apartment after upgrading from a studio unit. Sounds like a good choice from what l have read here although there were some faults with our room. Room was spacious with separate bedroom to kitchen/ lounge and a separate bathroom. Although we were advised both east and west wings had been fully... More

We had an apartment room. Very clean and comfortable. We were on the fourth floor and could look down into the little arcade next door. Situated right behind what is left of the Christchurch Cathedral it couldn't have been any more central. Only problem was the movie channel didn't work. We were told that they had been having problems for... More

Excellent location, clean rooms, but extremely limited facilities including only 1 hour free wifi per day (continuous from starting the connection with no opportunity to log in and out to stop and start the time). The single rooms have no real space to work and hardly any space to prepare food, plus no washing facilities - when you're staying over... More

These apartments are in a great location to walk to most of what's left in Christchurch. Room was very spacious and clean, apartments are a new build so everything was nice and new. Staff where very friendly and gave us good tips on what to visit. Only 1 hour free wifi per day, shame it wasn't unlimited. Tram stop directly... More

As most people are aware Christchurch, New Zealand, was hit in 2011, by a massive 6.3 magnitude earthquake, so when we arrived there on the 21st January we did not know what to expect. However, New Zealanders are, if nothing else, self-resilient and a huge amount of rebuilding and renovation has taken, and is taking, place. And our visit included... More

After having a weekend stay recently @ the Quest Christchurch I will definitely be back. Management & Staff very hospitable - the units are warm and very clean - great location in the CBD, and safe car parking available. Thanks.

Beautiful position in the Square although the tram noises are constant! The units are tired and need a sprucing up. They are adequately appointed but no Sky and no wifi unless you pay - this seems to be a Christchurch problem. We were there for nearly 4 weeks and found the kitchen utensils etc inadequate - the cleaning was haphazard... More

Thank you for your feedback. We are very sorry that Quest Christchurch did not meet your expectations but are happy that you enjoyed the location of our property. We were sorry to hear you thought the units were tired. We re-opened after the earthquakes in 2013 after completing a full refurbishment however insurance claims did not cover furniture which was... Quest in Christchurch provided a great quality accommodation with an excellent location - directly above the main tram terminal and very close to the central church which was damaged in the 2011 earthquake. Laundry facilities are limited with 1 washing machine available in the lobby (free of charge), although rooms with washing machines and dryers are available. Staff were friendly... More
