We were travelling in NZ for 2 weeks and stayed at many different places as we were in Ashburton, Mt cook, Queenstown, Wanaka, Franz alpine, Greymouth. THis is definitely the WORST place that we have stayed. We didn't miss Singapore until we landed at this motel and that's when we Really wanted to go home. I had slept very well... More

Recently spend 2 nights here. As a unit, great to have separate bedroom and lounge area, kitchen and bathroom. Although not new and modern-looking, the rooms fit the bill i.e. value for money. The bathroom shower looked like something out of the 1960s but the hot water was great so I'm not complaining. As weather was very cool- the electric... More

The motel is well located and has ample parking space. The manager and staff were very friendly and efficient. We had Unit Five, upstairs, at the far end of the motel and away from the street. The lounge was nicely furnished and also had a single bed; the bedroom had a queen size bed and a large closet; the kitchen... More

Very impressed with this place, everything is quite old but you can tell it's been looked after. It was nice to have a separate area to watch TV instead of just having a Studio! Only thing that really lets this down is its location - Christchurch is much bigger than we anticipated! We walked around the CBD & botanical gardens... More
