You can't beat the location (which was the main reason I booked this B&B) but unfortunately neither my husband or I got any rest - the bed (or futon-like mattress) was that uncomfortable! The breakfast was average (nothing noteworthy) but glad they served it because not many of the cafés in the neighborhood seemed to open until after 9 or... More

Lovely B&B near the Botanic Gardens. Hosts are very friendly and accomodating. Also helpful with recommendations. Transport is arranged to the train station for Tranzalpine. Orari is a good base for this line. House is full of character and owner has good taste. Great breakfast.

Charming Heritage B&B only 5 minutes from the Centre of Auckland. For the second time running we were unable to enjoy the full hospitality because the Interisland Ferry time had been changed. However the staff are very pleasant and obliging. The rooms are very comfortable . They have a Dumb Waiter style lift for Suitcases (Only to be used at... More

Just stayed here for 2 x nights to start our NZ adventure. After a long flight from the UK it was a lovely place to stay and relax for couple of nights. Room very pleasant, comfortable and clean. Hosts helpful and courteous offering local advice on places to go and restaurants to eat in. Also arrange our taxi for picking... More

My husband n I were stayed at this B&B. It was so cosy and quite. The room was big with nice cosy sitting faced big window. The living area so cosy, we spend our time listen music n reading book after back from dinner. Breakfast was served. The bacon is so delicious and butter. Highly recommend to friends!

This beautiful property is a lovely oasis in bustling Christchurch. The gardens are beautiful and the B&B had a grand Christmas tree in the lounge. I stayed in #1 on the ground floor, giving easy access from the car park in back. Next to the room was the original dumb waiter which is still put to good use ferrying luggage... More

Orari B&B is a large house. Yet it feels very homy. Our room was very nice and the living room area was very comfy and a good place to relax our feet after walking the city. The B&B is close to everything and also has paking possibilities, which was very appreaciable. The host was also helpful in giving us advice... More

We stayed in this lovely B&B, on shirt walking distance from Museum, Botanic Gardens, Cricket Oval, City Center and restaurants. Our room was on the first floor of this cosy house; we were happy to have a fan in the room (it was warm out- and inside the room).

This was the most expensive accommodation we had in New Zealand however I would say it was worth it. We were in room 3 and the bathroom was across the hall but it wasn't a problem. We were very comfortable in our room and slept well. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the lovely lounge with a glass of wine and... More

This is a handsome house with high standards just on the edge of the City. Just a 2 minute walk to a good choice of restaurants and the sight-seeing buses etc. The manager is welcoming & informative. The decor & proportions of the house make for a relaxing stay. We stayed for 1 night on 2 separate occasions & the... More
