Fairly priced hotel. Location ok, but we had a car so no problem about getting around...if u want to walk into center city (10-15 min walk thru park), which we did once. This motel has been extensively refurbished and bear no relationship to the early reviews on this site. We had a double spa bath suite with flat screen TV, kitchen, sofa and comfy chairs and even cafetiere coffee for less than $150. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. I booked this motel because a friend had stayed there and recommended it. We found it reasonable, comfortable and convenient to town. We were happy with the bed and standard of accomodation. On a previous trip we had taken a mobile home. We will never do that again. This time we would recommend the towers on the park to anyone... more
We were quite disappointed when we arrived here, as the pictures were better than the real thing. It is a very basic motel, but it is clean and tidy. I have not often stayed in a room where the only seating is a dining chair! So to watch TV we lay on the bed. Definitely not many stars for this... more
