This is definately a down market hotel and positioned nowhere near services or the city. The old rooms and bathroom are crying out for help. The only good thing - there is a refurbished Pub with great food and service in front of the hotel. more

Booked the Pacific Park for a one night stop in Christchurch, rate was the cheapest on (---). It was booked on price, availability of free parking and closeness to the city. It is your average inner city motel, with the ranch sliders doubling as the front door to your room. It is basically around a garden area, which at night... more

The staff are terribly rude and unhelpful. After leaving a mobile phone charger in my room I was advised that it had been found and would be sent back on receipt of a stamped addressed envelope. I forwarded them a pre-paid addressed courier bag only to be given the total run around when it came to getting the charger returned.... more
