Seemed good value for money. We only stayed for one night in a twin room. Excellent lcoation in the heart of Christchurch, plenty of bars, restaurants and shops nearby. base christchurch was right in cathedral square. perfect for catching buses, shuttles. in the center of all shopping, close to university. restaurants abound. hostel was pretty standard. very clean, kind of cold in the winter. spacious rooms. offered loads of information about area activities. heard the bar was good (as all base bars are) but didn't go. best base location... more
