The hotel is right beside the airport, and their is a convenient free shuttle bus that runs to the hotel. We paid $155 NZ for a room that had seen far better days. Paid $180 to get a superior room, but wasn't that great anyway. Room is small, dark, and dank, the bed was uncomfortable, finishings were dated, the mini bar didn't have anything in it. This hotel was really below average. We stayed just one night and even that one night was really awful. Except for the front desk and the concierge, who were really great and very very helpful. The only advantage is a free airport drop service every 15 minutes. more

This was our last night in a three week tour of Australia and NZ. It was the only place that was unpleasant. The building is older, the dining room lacks any charm, and there is no air conditioning. So close to the airport that you could walk there if your bags weren’t heavy. But they provide a 24hr shuttle bus service so you don’t have to. Very clean, modern bathroom. Free parking.
