On arrival at the hotel we were upgraded from a deluxe room to a suite in the historic wing of the Heritage Hotel Christchurch. This room was luxurious and spacious. The kitchen facilities were incredible. It was like being in your own apartment. The bedroom was upstairs on a mezzanine floor. The bathroom included a modern washing machine and drier.... more

This hotel was great. My partner, mother and father shared a 2 bedroom suite and it truly was incredible. The room was huge and even had two floors! Service was first rate, decor was classic and the room service meal was delicious. Don't make the mistake of staying at the Heritage Auckland but this one is a winner. more

We upgraded to a suite on arrival because they advertised in-room laundry facilities, and we had a bit of washing to do. The washing machine was broken and no offer was made to move us to another suite with a working machine. The suites are located in the 'Old Government Building' and they are noisy as they are located close... more

When we first got to the hotel they checked us into a twin room when I had requested a room with a king bed as it was our anniversary. I thought 'oh know its going to be one of those trips'. We went back down and told them what we had originally booked. Very embarrassed the boy checked us into... more

We stayed at the Heritage as the last leg of our honeymoon in NZ. We were lucky to get good last minute rates for the Heritage. We arrived to find ourselves booked into a big room (with loads of space), great view of the Cathedral Square area, a huge super king bed, full kitchen facilities, a huge plate of cakes... more

We stayed here for two nights, friendly staff right from valet parking to reception to chamber maids. Lots of information in large reception area on tours, things to do around the area, easy and relaxed check in with map showing where you are etc. Rooms are very spacious and super clean. Room service was efficient and tasty. The swimming pool... more

We stayed for a couple of nights in the OGB (Old Government Building). It was very nicely appointed with kitchen and laundry facilities. We had a two bedroom unit that was nicely furnished and spacious. The property is located directly behind the Cathedral so it oculdn't have been more convenient. more

Have just spent 3 nights at the The Heritage and thought the hotel was in a superb position (right beside the Cathedral) to sightsee around central Christchurch. Our room, which I understood to be just a regular room, was very large. It easily accommodated 2 adults and 2 children with an area to sit in as well. The bathroom was... more

Took up Heritage $99 deal for 1 night and got a great sized room for a family of four. Room was very clean and well equipped. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Location of the hotel is unbeatable, right in the CBD next to the Catherdral. The hotel gym in the building next door was great and Madisons Restaurant served us... more
