Can walk to the wharf and shops so the location was great, given that parking in town was tight. Bit of a rabbit warren to get to my room from reception but thankfully staff lead the way. Parking in their underground car park is first come first serve, most of the time it was full. Also parking on the street... More

We stayed recently for a few days sightseeing Christchurch. We booked one of the 2 penthouse suites and were very satisfied. Large wrap around terrace, huge spacious rooms, full kitchen w/laundry. This hotel was perfect for our sightseeing visit, easy walking in the CBD and to the botanical gardens., easy free bus around the area and to the grocery if... More

Before I start, I must point out that this review will shine light on the fact that this facility is NOT good for families, romantic getaway, celebration, peaceful holiday etc. However, it would suit a maximum of 3 people per room who are in Christchurch for a conference and are not in the rooms much at all. Any other situation... More

I don't really know what to tell you about this place; on so may levels it was great but ther were some major unresolved niggles. The good: really nice quality suites with well fitted kitchens so you can properly self cater (full size fridge, washing machine, dryer, etc) well equipped with plasma TVs a sofa and chairs as well as... Well we stayed 5 nights here and were not disappointed. The suites were lovely and clean with everything that you needed right there. Within walking distance to most things being so close to town etc. Eateries, punting, tram rides, pubs, cafes etc. Staff very friendly, and efficient. Nothing was a problem. Only minor criticism is the suites need to update... More

This hotel is well located, a 5 minute walk to the city centre but nice and quiet. It is spacious and has everything needed for a family. Spotlessly clean bathroom and kitchen with lots of towels and utensils/crockery/pots and pans etc provided. There is even a washing machine and dryer in the kitchen cupboard. Car parking underneath is convenient. The... More

We stayed in a two-bedroom apartment. Masses of space, full kitchen and the all-important laundry facilities (even though we had to run the tumble-dryer all night to get the clothes dry!). The place is lacking in character, but the accommodation follows the kiwi theme of large open-plan kitchen and lounge. It is central enought to walk to to the centre... More

Extremely comfortable Hotel, with friendly staff on front reception willing to assist when they can. Close proximity to Victoria Square and through to the central city. Also close to Free shuttle bus service looking after the city on a regular basis. The building has a lovely theme, rooms are very modern with nice furnishings, comfortable beds and modern appliances, facilities... More

We stayed in the two bedroom apartment and although the decor is a bit dated and the TV tiny, the accommodation was comfortable and central. We stayed in an apartment in the front of the building looking towards a park. The balcony increased the feeling of space. Travelling with a family eating out all the time is not an option,... More
