We stayed here for a couple of days and were very impressed - The room we had was huge - more a suite than a room with a spotlessly clean kitchenette, lounge and bedroom and very comfortable bed. WiFi quick and no problem. The hosts were very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The location is really good - on the park... More

This hotel is just a short walk to the restaurants and Westfield Shopping Centre on Riccarton Road. We walked across the South Hadley Park to the center of town (15 min) and followed the Avon River to the Botanic Garden. The accommodation was very comfortable. Rob at reception offered useful information about the area.

Although the walk from town is about a mile, it is through a lovely park. The room is comfortable with a kitchenette and microwave. The bed is large and reasonably comfortable. The shower looked as if it was going to be a little unreliable, but it had plenty of hot water and was more than powerful enough. The hosts are... More

We stayed in a one bedroom suite at this hotel. The room was spacious for two people. The facilities were clean and really good. The best part was the location - right on Hagley park. Great for an early morning walk! The manager was very friendly as well, and gave us good tips. There are good choices for restaurants within... More

This Motel is hands down the cleanest place I have ever stayed. We stayed in a Queen suite, which was spacious and exceptionally clean and tidy. The kitchen was fully functional and we easily managed to cook a meal there. There were even the little extras like glad wrap and foil etc. The bathroom was very small but perfectly adequate.... The room was clean and had a really useful little kitchen. It's not too far from the city and there are plenty of eating places just round the corner. Also fairly near to the station which was great as we had to catch the 7am train

We stayed here last month and loved the place. It is quiet, has great amenities (great kitchenette, laundromat, parking space and free wi-fi). There are lots of restaurants, a 24 hour convinience store and a couple of bus stops within a 5 min walk. While it is some distance away from the airport, It is located right opposite the beautiful... More

i stayed in this hotel with other 5 friends and we took the family room for 1 night just opposite the reception. The reason why we stayed in this hotel were just because of the location and it can fit all of us. The bed and room was ok and clean. The only thing that surprise was the way we... More

Thank you for taking the time to give your review. When I checked you and your group in at 5pm I went through a city map with you as you advised you were going to go into the city. I also advised where shops and the supermarket was. As with all guests who are staying with us for just 1... More

we have stayed here a couple of times in the past two years and loved our stay. Hosts Maggie and Bruce are a lovely welcoming and warm couple. Nothing is a problem and they go out of their way to make your stay a happy experience. It's close to the central city and just across the road from beautiful Hagley... More

We loved this hotel. We were checked in quickly and efficiently. We were shown to our room which was clean and airy. Bruce gave us a welcome basket with teas and a few snacks. There were 5 of traveling together. We opted for 2 rooms in advance however we would have fit comfortably in just one room. One bed was... More
