We stayed three nights at No. 10 at the beginning of our driving tour in New Zealand. Betty is a charming host who welcomed us with sandwiches and cake after our overnight flight from Singapore. She also invited us to share an evening glass of an excellent Sauvignon Blanc. Our en suite room was comfortably furnished and pleasantly decorated with... More

When you're ready for a very comfortable stay in commodious surroundings, to sleep nightly in a soft snug bed, you're ready for Betty and Keith's place at No 10. Betty's company is amiable, purposeful, so that you take to your surrounds in Riccarton, barely two kilometres perhaps three from central Christchurch. Tasteful fare is to be had at 'Joyful' Restaurant,... More

Following the second major earthquake in Christchurch, to our very great regret, we found that our home-away-from-home B&B had been destroyed. We pass through Christchurch a couple of times each year, and having a place to stay which is familiar, comfortable and welcoming is very important to us. Well, we found Betty, and our new pausing place in Christchurch. Betty... More

We stayed two nights at No 10 and were very comfortable, and felt quite at home. The room is small, but quite serviceable, clean, comfortable bed, and the property is convenient to the sights we wanted to visit! With a smile, Betty accommodated us both mornings with very early breakfast times, since our tours had very early starts. Breakfasts were... More

I stayed at no10 for 3 nights in March. Betty was wonderfully accommodating of my dietary needs. The property was very clean and conveniently located to local shops and restaurants as well as walking/buses to hagley park and to christchurch centre. The location was quiet and restful. All the facilities of the property were as described. Betty is a charming,... More

Located in a very quiet cul-de-sac (no exit) but only a few minutes walk to Riccarton shopping mall with many cafes and eateries. Hagley Park is within walking distance, as is the unique and ancient Riccarton Bush. Our en-suite room had a very modern shower room and the most comfortable bed. The breakfasts are substantial with fruit, yoghurt, toast, cereal,... More
