There's two seperated bedroom, though we only use one, and you can see animals at your own balcony. Thank Lorna for leading us to see the cute animals in the farm and serve us very delicious breakfast. There is Alpaca in the farm, Alpaca lovers can't miss Miners Arms BB.

This is a comfortable 2 bedroom B and B which offers spacious rooms in a peaceful setting. Lorna made us feel very welcome. It was great to be able to be like big kids and get involved with feeding the animals! much appreciated. The grounds are accessible too and you are very much " in the country". Being able to... Lorna and Steve offer very fine accommodation in the general vicinity of Christchurch, proximate to the airport but with no aircraft noise. Our accommodation comprised a very comfortable bedroom and associated sitting room, upstairs from Lorna and Steve's part of the house. These two rooms access the verandah and across the passage a spacious bathroom with bath and separate shower.... More

We stayed in March 2014 at Miners Arms Bed and Breakfast. We were a family of four adults and found our stay very lovely. We had two seperate bedrooms and our own bathroom and lounge room that had tea/coffee making facilities, a fridge and microwave. We were given a breakfast menu so that each of us could choose what we... More

A farmstay that is not too far away from Christchurch airport. The room was clean and comfortable. The alpacas were cute and friendly. my daughter loved feeding them. Lorna gave us a tour of the farm and shared her stories with us. There was a great selection for breakfast.

Our family of 2 adults and 2 kids stayed with Lorna and Steve for 4 nights. We were very happy with our decision. The rooms were thoughtfully furnished and the breakfasts were delicious. Our boys loved to interact with and feed all the friendly animals. Lorna was kind enough to also do some laundry for us while we were there.... More

Went back to see Lorna, Steve and the animals in June for another trip to the South Island and had several relaxing nights there. Did some walking around the area, and Lorna and Steve recommended a delicious Indian restaurant in nearby Rolleston for dinner. Breakfasts were wonderful, once again, and this time I switched rooms from where I usually sleep.... More

A little bit out of town but worth the drive. Nice comfortable 2 bedroom, upstairs apartment. Felt at home immediately. Could really relax in the country atmosphere. Lorna very friendly and helpful with local suggestions. Enjoyed our conversations with her. Good breakfast both mornings we were there. Took a walk around their huge lot and met Alfred & Sky their... This accommodation met all our expectations and more++. Hosts Lorna and Steve were gracious and welcoming - the living area included 2 bedrooms, a lounge and bathroom - all spacious, well appointed, very comfortable and clean. Being an animal lover the best for me was "out on the farm"... gorgeous alpacas (which you are allowed to hand feed), sheep and... More

We very much enjoyed meeting you both. Thank you for your lovely review - we're happy that you liked staying here. The lamb count is still 3, but the coloured ewes are looking ready. Sky and Alfie, over in the paddocks, loved your cuddles so much that they expect the same from us whenever we're near them. We hope you... More
