After a long journey to NZ this B&B is a lovely place to relax. Margret's warm welcome and beautiful house is a little paradise close to the airport. We had the Magnolia room, which has its own bathroom, comfortable bed and a seperate lounge with acces to the garden. Breakfast was perfect, fresh fruit, toast, greek yoghurt, muffins and Margret... January 2015 visit. One night in Magnolia Room. Arrived after taking Tranz Alpine train from Greymouth and taxi to airport to pick up rental car. B&B oh, so close to AirPort but you feel as though you're in the country with all the land, flowers and horses on property. Owner very encouraging that since we were leaving in the morning... More

I stayed here with my partner and our three children on our last night in the South Island. We stayed in the Pewter Suite, which Margaret had all set up for us. It is a gorgeous room, very comfortable and welcoming, complete with a private ensuite. There were little treats left in the room for the children. The bathroom tiles... More

This was a great start to our holiday, before picking up our camper van the following day. Margaret is a good hostess and offered us a lift to the van pick up after our stay. The room was lovely with an en suite shower and sitting room with patio doors to the lovely garden. Very near the airport so very... More

We stayed at the Magnolia Room and were quite surprised how big it was. The bathroom is a little small, but the bed room and the living room were as big as a hotel suite in Switzerland! Everything was clean and the decoration was awesome - we felt like in a home decorating magazine.... and we loved it!! Margaret is... More

We stayed in the Magnolia room, a large ensuing double with adjoining sitting room overlooking the patio, koi pond, and gardens. The ground floor suite is privately apart, and with the views, very peaceful. Breakfast is a feast of continental and fully cooked choices. The owner, Margaret, could not be kinder or more helpful. Assisted by her friendly, mellow, dog... More

We only stayed one night at the beginning of our tour of South Island. This B&B was clean and bed was comfortable, if a little soft. Margaret is a wonderful host, attentive and helpful. She also puts together a mean breakfast, certainly the best I had on this trip, with homemade jams, muesli and fresh made to order omelets. She... More

Stayed here just for one night as we needed somewhere close to the airport (it's very close! We walked to the Jucy car rental office in the morning and it was a 20 minute walk - the airport is not much further). We stayed in the Magnolia Room, which was very large, comfortable, and clean. Mini fridge, kettle, TV, small... More

Everything was perfect from the moment we booked! Communication from the owner is excellent. When we arrived we felt immediately welcomed and knew this was the perfect place to be. Beautiful B&B. Delightful breakfast and helpful suggestions on touring. Thank you for a wonderful visit!
