I have been to a lot of Motels and this would have to be one of the best as far as hosts are concerned. Russell is wonderful and goes out of his way (over and above) to help you with whatever he can. Very impressed. Definitely be staying here again if we head back to Christchurch and can get a... More

My family stayed for 2 nights for the weekend of the Kenny Rogers concert. The 2 bedroom motel unit was clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and the location was great for us. Very close to some good eateries, the Riccarton shops and not too far from the airport. Russell was a great host and even... More

We stayed two nights at this motel when we were in Christchurch to watch the ICC World Cup cricket. It was booked online by a friend so we didn't really know what to expect but were totally happy with the motel. It is not too far from the airport and is easily accessible. The owner Russell was very helpful and... More

Even though I am a mainlander, I tend to get lost in Christchurch, but there was no such problem with this motel. It is on the main road into town from the south, and close to Riccarton for food or shopping. I actually picked the motel purely on the basis it was the cheapest I could find, and on that... More

Russell was a friendly and helpful host and ensured my stay was comfortable the room was spacious and the bed comfortable there was no road noise and the motel is situated right across the road from the warehouse and within walking distance to the mall but if you prefer there is a bus stop outside the motel. This a good... More

Room was good and spacious. The bathroom ceiling was grubby with mould like marks on the roof - could do with a really good scrub down. Different to have a separate kitchen area with table. Was handy in location

Will never stay there again. We had unit 1. There was road noise all night. There were scary young men on the sidewalk shouting much of the night, so much so that my husband did not want to go out to the car to get something we needed. The sofabed our children shared was VERY uncomfortable and noisy. We couldn't... More

Thank you for your comments. Unfortunately most motels are situated on main thoroughfares, making it easier for guests to find them. Yes you did have Unit One, which is the one that you booked and it is advertised as the closest unit to the road, hence the price difference to all our other studio units. Unfortunately we were unaware of... More

Great welcome and host makes up for a few shortcomings, and maybe I'm getting fussy! Rooms very spacious and clean, bathroom and kitchen pretty dated but everything works. Good bed too. If you're a light sleeper there is lots of ambient noise from nearby road and rail yards. Overall good value for money, don't expect flash or corporate

Thank you for your comments, we appreciate the comment about noise, but as most motels are situated on busy main thorughfares it is hard to escape this. More
