We had the 1 bedroom with the bedroom upstairs, 2 flat screen tvs, lots of room with a small kitchen area. The room was very clean and well kept, as usual with New Zealand, the owners were very friendly and helpful, especially pointing out the quake red zone and what is open.

Really nice accommodation - huge room. Very clean and tidy.
The staff were very helpful. In light of the earthquake and all the local businesses that are closed, they had put together a map showing all restaurants that are still open - which was very helpful.

First time staying in a Motel and couldn't fault it. The in room DVD Player was a nice touch. Any request that I had Jeff & Naomi were happy to help. Good base for my day trip to Kaikoura. Very central to the Red Zone so be prepared for seeing the damage first hand. Would definitely recommend to friends.
