Hosts Jo and Frank are the Best, as is their beautifully refitted motor hotel. The warmth, cleanliness and personal assistance on offer are non-pareil in our six week trip for a motel of this class: terrific! Rooms are spacious, well-lit yet private, elegantly decorated, beautifully outfitted for all guest needs, including kitchenette and bathroom. You can be sure of excellence here. more

We stayed for only 1 night in March 08 & found the motel to be fantastic. It has been refurbished last year & they have done a wonderful job. Everything is clean & new & it is the only place I've been to which had 3 lcd tv's in a 2 bedroom unit!! 1 in each bedroom & 1 in the lounge-no fighting over who wants to watch here! A few blocks out of the main city area means that it is a bit more peaceful & the double glazing adds to that. We have stayed in several motels in Christchurch previously but found this one to be great for a family & very reasonable in price! Service is very friendly as well. more
