We had the pleasure of staying here for two nights in January. The executive room was fantastic, bed was super comfortable, tea/coffee facilities had a great range. Staff have been very friendly and helpful. Great location near the park with a beautiful walk through park to city centre . Highly recommend !

An well positioned hotel with grat access to Riccarton, Hagley Park, Town, etc. the rooms were an excellent size with a lovely view over Hagley Park. The bathrooms were also great with both spa bath and separate shower. On the negative side the road noise from the boy races did disturb our sleep Saturady night/Sunday morning. While there was free... More

Although the hotel is on a roundabout (main road) the rooms were generally quiet, but there is a pub underneath and the 'boys' were a bit loud as they lingered on the street on a Saturday night. Have to weigh up the convenience of having a pub downstairs as most restaurants were on the other side of the beautiful Hagley... More

Pleasant hotel with nicely sized rooms which thankfully are double glazed to block out the horrendous noise of Friday / Saturday night boy racers - Don't the police do anything about these idiots? The guy who 'welcomed' us on arrival needs a wee lesson in customer service - An "hello & welcome" is not too much to ask! Our breakfast... More

I visited Christchurch for work and Parkview is in a great location. I got a free upgrade to a penthouse suite which was well equipped. Very spacious rooms and comfortable bed. Only disappointment was the breakfast, which wasn't what I requested- the toast and hashbrown a were soggy and there was no tomato sauce. Saying that I will stay again... More

This is our last accommodation in NZ. What a contrast to the first one: it's beautifully appointed, furnishings are very nice and complement each other, it has a warmth which was missing in Auckland, it is very modern and looks like it has been cared for. But most of all it is comfortable, warm and we feel relaxed here. If... More

we booked this hotel off the Internet and were expecting a full service, premium hotel. What it is, is a lovely motel, larger than normal rooms, average furnishings. View was lovely, but comes with traffic noise,(not surprising since it is on the corner of a busy round about. Next surprise was when we looked up in the book provided and... More

Was well furnished and had loads of sky channels, comfortable bed, all amenities we needed. Had a great stay, with a cooked breakfast delivered every morning. Only complaint would be that the road outside was noisy in the middle of the night with cars racing but not sure if that is a regular occurance. The noise wasn't enough to take... More

I travel to Christchurch about 4 times a year and this hotel is always my first choice. I have stayed at a few of the high end hotels in Christchurch but the parkview comes out on top. The location is great a two minute drive to the centre of the city and 5 minutes to the industrial area. Rooms are... More
