We requested a quiet room and were located at the back of the hotel. View not great but the compromise for being away from the main road. Rooms very spoacious, comfortable and clean. We were late arriivng but arrangements had been made and it was no problem to get into our room and check in the next morning. A lot... More

Stayed here while working during the earthquake recovery for monthly periods, it's a really good hotel, rates with anything else in Christchurch, restaurants a very short walk, just downstairs too! Highly recommended. Close to the park for a walk too.

Rooms are very large , clean and comfortable. Bathroom clean and large and modern. Situated on a busy road junction which is noisy so no point in having a balcony room to enjoy a view. Could do with some voile type curtains so room can be light but private. Good location for access to town - a pleasant walk through... More

Has to be the most overpriced hotel in Christchurch .right on the corner of a busy main road traffic noise really bad $345 a night for a family of three is very excessive for the quality of the place ,shop around there are better quality and value for money than this in Christchurch

We had the pleasure of staying here for two nights in January. The executive room was fantastic, bed was super comfortable, tea/coffee facilities had a great range. Staff have been very friendly and helpful. Great location near the park with a beautiful walk through park to city centre . Highly recommend !

An well positioned hotel with grat access to Riccarton, Hagley Park, Town, etc. the rooms were an excellent size with a lovely view over Hagley Park. The bathrooms were also great with both spa bath and separate shower. On the negative side the road noise from the boy races did disturb our sleep Saturady night/Sunday morning. While there was free... More

Although the hotel is on a roundabout (main road) the rooms were generally quiet, but there is a pub underneath and the 'boys' were a bit loud as they lingered on the street on a Saturday night. Have to weigh up the convenience of having a pub downstairs as most restaurants were on the other side of the beautiful Hagley... More

Pleasant hotel with nicely sized rooms which thankfully are double glazed to block out the horrendous noise of Friday / Saturday night boy racers - Don't the police do anything about these idiots? The guy who 'welcomed' us on arrival needs a wee lesson in customer service - An "hello & welcome" is not too much to ask! Our breakfast... More
