John & Raewyn welcome you into their home with open arms. The rooms are very clean with a modern interior the king bed is really comfortable with fluffy pillows! The terrace opens out onto the vines, olive trees & gorgeous mountain ranges, it's a very peaceful, relaxing environment. The food was very yummy at all meals. Overall a great place... More

As many have said before, Raewyn and John are excellent hosts and worked really hard to make our stay as happy as possible. We had drinks with our hosts at night and also ate delicious breakfasts in their house in the morning - the breakfasts were a real highlight and some of the best we have enjoyed anywhere (gorgeous homemade... This place is fantastic! We spent 2 wonderful nights in one of Raewyn and Johns delicate rooms. Their house is surrounded by wineyards and a beautiful garden and it is all so gorgeous. The rooms are delicate and spacious with their own bathrooms and terrace. You get that feeling of luxury staying here. Tea and homemade freshly baked cookies and fruits... More

When it is time to go home and you're not ready to go, you know you have had a great weekend. Thank you to our welcoming hosts Raewyn and John for the wonderful food, wine, accommodation and company. There were so many foodie highlights from the homemade feijoa ice cream and muesli, smoked fish and venison with as much enjoyment... More

My partner and I finished our two week travels in New Zealand with 3 nights at Riverstone Lodge and we couldn't have had a more enjoyable stay. Location is ideal - far enough from the city to relax, but close enough to visit the many wineries in the region. Raewyn and John are wonderful hosts who made us feel very... More

this is a very high quality hosted small lodge with only two/three rooms. we stayed in conjunction with the Malborough Wine and Food festival. The owners are as good a host as you could find anywhere. Meals are excellent (cooked breakfast not for the faint hearted) and the local wine is as good as NZ wine can be. We will... More

Myself and my wife spent a few weeks over xmas travelling around NZ and our three days at Riverstone were amazing. Raewyn & John (the owners and hosts) made us feel so welcome that by the end they felt like family - and that was after a 3 night stay! From breakfast in the morning overlooking the olive grove to... We spent two nights at the Riverstone Lodge and found it to be our best stay. Our hosts were very welcoming. We felt as we were guests in their home rather than just a B & B. Each evening we were invited to join them (and neighbor friends) for wine and cheese and nice conversation. The accomodations were lovely with... More

Raewyn and John make you feel right at home in their beautiful place by the river in Blenheim. No detail is too small--great rooms with your own porch, a perfectly appointed bathroom with a terrific shower, a changing area, snacks and drinks in the frig, a fabulous breakfast, a comfy bed, a quiet room in a gorgeous country setting in...
