We had a lovely stay with Heidi and Werner at the Peppertree. The villa is elegant and beautifully decorated, set amongst vines and olive grove with Wither Hills as backdrop. The hospitality is outstanding and breakfast was always delicious. Wish we could've stayed longer!

We were delighted to have chosen The Peppertree for our overnight stay. Heidi and Werner have created a beautifully restored villa on the edge of Blenheim set amongst vineyards, olive groves and surrounding farmland. The rooms are spacious, warm and tastefully decorated. Heidi provides a delightful breakfast in the dining room that captures the morning sun.

Joined some good friends for their themed wedding at the Peppertree - and had a wonderful time - the owners Heidi and Werner were the perfect hosts providing a stunning setting and fabulous food for the wedding party - as we live close by we did not get the chance to try the rooms but had an opportunity to see... We stayed for one night in the beautiful William Morris Suite. Heidi and Werner were so welcoming and helpful, we felt so at home and fell in love with the place on sight! Set in stunning gardens the house has been lovingly decorated with no expenses spared. Heidi makes beautiful home made condiments grown in their own garden and having... More

We had two very comfortable nights at Peppertree in March. Heidi and Werner are the perfect hosts. Our room was spacious, comfortable and warm with a pretty garden terrace complete with fountain. We enjoyed seeing the extensive orchard, olive trees and seeing the Peppertree wine in production.Breakfast was of a very high standard with lots of choices.

We decided to stay overnight at The Peppertree on our way to Wellington to do some wine tasting and to break our journey. As you approach you are greeted by a stunning old farmhouse, covered in a beautiful wisteria and set behind it's own small vineyard. Our host Heidi was charming and a delight. We stayed in the William Morris... More

The Peppertree is a grand mansion with wonderful hosts who look after every need. On the first evening of our stay, we enjoyed glasses of the very nice chardonnay that Werner crafts from the grapes grown in the front yard. After a day of touring the wine country, Heidi prepared a beautiful cold supper that was the perfect end to... More

This is a gorgeous old home - tastefully restored by Heidi & Werner - who are supreme hosts. This is another of our favourite luxury bed and breakfasts. We come back because we are guaranteed wonderful hosting, extremely comfortable and well equipped rooms plus incredible breakfasts. Just the place to relax after a taxing day spent exploring the vineyards. Also... More

What a lovely place to arrive at! The driveway from the road to the elegant house is lovely, and the house itself is an absolute gem of colonial style. Our hosts Heidi and Werner could not have been more charming. We were treated to tea on the verandah on our arrival - here we met some other guests. Our room... More

This really is a step back in time to all the picture book looks that you could imagine an old Edwardian colonial house would be. From tea on the verandah overlooking the lovely trees and front garden complete with white fan tail doves, to our room with its own private little garden and swingseat, heaven. Our host Heidi was so... More
