This is a lovely B&B, in a very convenient location for all that Blenheim has to offer. Helen and Brian were wonderful hosts with great stories and recommendations. They kindly made reservations for dinner on both nights for us, both at great restaurants, and we enjoyed wine and canapés with them before dinner on both evenings. Brian also gave us... More

Helen and Brian operate a 1st class B & B. Warm welcome, great wine, fabulous breakfast, and Theo, my favorite. Grounds exceptional! Helen and Brian had dinner reservations pre made for us and Brian personally drove us to our Dinner at Herzog so we could enjoy a nice dinner and wine with no worries. Local car service took us back.... More

This lovely B & B has the feel of a much loved French aristocratic country home. Helen and Brian are very gracious and pampered us like family. Helen's fantastic culinary talents have motivated me to attempt new dishes. Wish New Zealand wasn't so far away since this spot demands return visits.

We took the Interislander ferry from Wellington to Picton. The Kaitaki premium plus service was the perfect way to cruise. The lounge was comfortable providing WiFi, food, beverages and great views. We picked up our car and headed to our B&B. Helen and Brian have created a lovely, welcoming home. The landscaping is breathtaking. We were greeted like old friends... More

This was the highlight of my wife and my two week trip all over the South Island. Brian and Helen are truly amazing people and it shows in their property! It is like staying with warm-loving family. They go well above and beyond anything you can fathom. Helen made us local reservations and cooked the perfect breakfasts and appetizers based... More

There have been so many wonderful reviews of the charming B&B that it is hard to say anything new.The "accommodation" is the home of Helen and Brian, who are charming, delightful people who did all they could to make our stay enjoyable, There are three very nice guest rooms, one of which is usually reserved for a party which might... This one is right up there with the best of the B&B's we have visited during our 5 week vacation in New Zealand. Quietly located away from the centre of Blenheim (15 minute walk) Brian and Helen are most welcoming hosts at their lovely home. 3 highest quality bedrooms, well equipped and providing restful and comfortable accommodation. A highlight for... More

Helen & Brian are wonderful, friendly and knowledgable hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them whether it is doing washing for guests, serving complimentary wine and canapés, or driving one to a recommended local restaurant. Brookhurst itself is a lovely classic villa in a quiet part of Blenheim with a beautiful garden and very close to the airport. It... More

Brookhurst truly is a very beautiful property, and the accommodation in our Gold Room was very luxurious however it was Helen and Brian who made our stay so memorable. From the moment we arrived we felt as though we were being welcomed into a friend's home. Wine and nibblies by the fire (with Theo snuggled at our feet) was a... More
