we stayed here for 4 nights in a king studio, very spacious and equipped well. owners are very helpful and great surroundings, only complaint here was the cobwebs with spiders that we got rid of ourselves, perhaps your cleaners should look above the floor

Our studio unit near the pool and barbeque are was pleasant - very comfortable king bed, tv, a couch, small but adequate kitchen, huge wet area bathroom. It was clean, had good bed linen, and was quiet.

It is an older style motel. But bed was comfortable, rooms were clean, easy to get around everywhere from there and service was great. Only issue is its ticketed wifi so had to keep going back to ask for more.

I booked a night at this motel on a recent business trip. I was shown to a room out the back near the pool/BBQ area. It was a very out-dated room (décor wise) and was actually quite dirty. There was an accumulation of dirt and hair behind the rubbish bins, and cobwebs hanging from the ceilings. The 4 pillows I... More

This is a nice motel. Friendly and helpful staff. Room was modern, well decorated and equipped. One of the nicer motels we stayed at in New Zealand and at a reasonable price too. The local pub was a 5 minutes walk away and did excellent food.

Beautifully appointed large rooms. Great king bed. Beautiful grounds. The owners were very helpful getting us set up for our bike to wine adventure. Super clean. I think that our suite had been recently remodeled. Very nice.

I know this place is getting some adverse comments but - we found it adequate for our touring holiday, clean, friendly etc. What made it memorable for us was - My wife left 2 pairs jeans there when we left and they had them sent to Queenstown in time to catch us before we left N. Z. (Admittedly we had to... More

Shut this place down. I am 50+, ok, I am not some boring old fart. But I am not sleeping in somebody's bedroom extension, with no soap or proper bathroom. For $110, I can get luxury in the North Island and respect to go with it. OK, parts of the Admirals look ok with motel type rooms. But, to stay... More

Very outdated, old fashioned rooms, but comfortable enough. Shower was so high pressure it was horrible! The hosts were lovely, but totally not worth the amount of money that we paid to stay there. Not close to anything apart from the gardens. Walls were very thin in the standard studios.

this was the worst motel we came across on our south island trip, we had to go up a stair case that had thread bare carpet, our room was off the landing as were several others.....fortunately we were the only ones there, as I dare say it would have been very noisy. The room was so small there was no... More
