Booking was easy as Graham was very responsive to our booking query. When we arrived Graham was so friendly and welcoming, showing us to our room and where breakfast would be served the next day. The room was spacious with a lounge area, tea and coffee facilities and a large bathroom. The shower was good and the bed comfortable. Wifi... More

What a delightful place, easy to find from our drive from Kaikoura, even in the dark (we arrived much later than anticipated due to an unforeseen traffic accident, not involving us thankfully!). We were frazzled because of this and the sherry in the room was much appreciated. As we were eating a delicious breakfast the next morning we got a... More

Graeme his team were more than hospitable from the very beginning, helping us with parking, our bags, every aspect of the beautiful establishment. Our room was spacious with a lovely view, and we walked one block to a great restaurant, which is also the CBD. Graeme let me use the washed and dryer free of charge which was great because... More

This excellent B&B was great value in a great location and came as a suggestion from another B&B that was full when we tried to book with them. We had a lovely big room (Grape Room) with en-suite and there were shared facilities we could have used to make a meal for ourselves if we had wanted to. We did... More

We really enjoyed our stay! Comfortable bed, big tasty breakfast, great service and a very reasonable price. Loved the nice garden and the home like feeling. Perfect stay when visiting the vineyards. Extra plus for free shuttle service, free wifi, access to free laundry facilities and free port. Cheers to friendly Graham who shares his good mood.

We had a great time in Blenheim. The room was huge and had everything we needed. It also had the added bonus of a half litre of port waitig for us, which Graham offered to top up every day. The bed and breakfast is very nice and comfortable and in easy walking distance to bars and restaurants. Graham made this... More

This is the first review we do on TripAdvisor. We are a young couple and we spent 2 nights at Henry Maxwell (Grape Room). It was such a good experience, we want to share it with you. It was our honeymoon and we were welcomed with 2 small bottles of sparkling wine "methode tradionnelle". There were also chocolates in the... More

We stayed here just the one night and slept in the Grape room. The accommodation is quite spacious, very clean and has an unusual mix of furnishings which seemed to fit the premises quite well. The friendly welcome and breakfast preparation by the owner, Graham, made us feel very much at home. As a fairly large earthquake had taken place... More

Henrys Maxwell's B&B was just perfect. We stayed in the Grape room. Graham was a wonderful host, he had a bottle of bubbly for us upon our arrival knowing that we were celebrating our 25th anniversary. The room was very spacious and also had a bottle of port for a nightcap if you so chose. The breakfast was just delicious.... More

Centrally located literally 5 mins from the town centre, the B&B is a lovely old Victorian home with a relaxed rustic colonial ambience. We had a spacious room for our family group of three, with an ensuite, comfortable beds with fine linen, TV and tea/coffee facilities. It's an ideal base for a couple or small family group. Host Graham is... More
