Stayed just 1 night for sporting event. Place was good for what we needed. Heaters were on for us which was nice as we arrived quite late. No problems at all nice place for a quick stay with all you need.

a great place to stop off at on the way to Nelson, Clean tidy and well equipped with the items to cook with. Booked via the internet while traveling up to there so was great to arrive and all done. Would recommend to anyone

On the down side, beds rock hard, large groups get the run of the place, so there is little planning and consideration of where groups get put in an area together in more out of the way areas and little concern even if their activities distrupt others (this includes with the way vehicles parked). We had to cancel one night... More

Whilst the rooms were basically clean, the room was crying out for modernisation. The cupboards were somewhat musty, the bed very uncomfortable and in need of replacement. The staff were helpful however I cant help thinking this place is stuck in the past and is typical of motels in the 1970's. I didnt like the requirement to write down s... More

its a motel like there are hundreds, but the owner was helpful, the room was clean and the supermarket close. Thats really all I can say about this motel, there was not much glamour on the side. but if you just want a goodnight sleep its a safe choice to go there.

All we needed for an overnight stay whilst travelling around. Host was very accommodating and gave us a warm welcome. Room clean, comfortable and quiet though I could hear the neighbour snoring! A little out of town but not a problem.

Cheery owners make the difference at this out of town motel. Rooms are basic but comfortable. The grounds have attractive shrubs that screen the rear units and there is a small pool and swing set for the kids. Our studio unit had dishes and cutlery so we could prepare a meal. It's a short drive to the city for an... More

Simple motel but clean and simple. Excellent owners who just seem to care - we really appreciated that. It's well located and unpretentious with comfy beds. Service is the key and this couple know how to provide it. Thanks.

Friendly owners. Nice neat rooms. Not super fancy but neat clean and tidy. A good little kitchen (modern and well equipped) helps you cook for yourself quite easily. The motel was full when we were there and the units were nice and quiet. Great place to stop on a self-drive holiday.
