Motel adequate, but room looked shabby, as furnishings tired. Shower not good, could not turn around hardly and you had to get into the shower before turning tap on or water just went straight out the door. It did have all that you needed. Host friendly. Found it quite expensive as had better Motels for less or similar price elsewhere,... More

We had a one bedroom unit with kitchen and extra bed in the common room. It was okay but the furnishings seemed worn, unlike others motels we had stayed in on the South Island. It was annoying that WiFi did not connect in the room. I had to walk to the office building and sit outside in order to use... More

We stopped here on our trip back up the country. The rooms were more than adequate clean and comfortable. Lacking a few things like wardrobes bedside tables or anywhere to put a suitcase but there was everything else you need comfortable seats, great bathroom, good cooking facilities and very welcoming hosts. Although wifi is offered in our case it could... More

Nice hotel for a stop over. Very less wifi access in this town and the wifi offered for 2 people doesn't run for long. Close to a bar and restaurant which close my 9. In short. Nice hotel to stop on your way. Couldn't ask for more. tv was there and coffee Mancini too

If you really need to stopover in Haast on your travels this motel is adequate but needs updating. There is nothing to do in Haast other than eat junk food and walk down the highway. On our South Island road trip this was the least inspiring stop

We stayed here on our way to Fox as a stopover. There isn't much to choose from in Haast but we went with this one. Pros: Functional bathroom and setup for elderly and disabled peoples. Comfortable bed and warm heater. Cons: It was quite a small room. The furnishings were quite outdated. New curtains here, a new microwave there etc.... More

We stayed for one night. We really enjoyed the area. The hostess was friendly, giving us local information and telling us where we might see some dolphins. And we did see one! The room was very comfortable, with everything that you need, and a functional bathroom. Very recommendable.
