If you are looking for a condo for a few days in Wellington, this is a good choice for you. When we arrived, we were expecting a standard B&B with several rooms and guests. We did not think we were in the right place with no B&B sign. We were a bit worried in thinking we were sharing a condo... more

Jeff and Dean are very hospitable hosts who go out of there way to make your stay pleasant. Their B & B has a great location close to the downtown area and a short 10 minute walk to the number one attraction, the Te Papa Museum. They have lots of information on the city and local area and provide many... more

We were absolutely delighted with the City B and B. We were met at the airport - a fab service as we only flew from Timaru! Dean was extremely welcoming and efficient - we felt very at home and enjoyed chatting to Dean. We appreciated the balance of friendliness yet feeling we had the place to ourselves. Everything was spotless... more

Dean and Jeff are the most wonderful hosts They are very friendly and helpful. We had a pleasant 2 nights stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The B&B is located very close to the CBD and is a short walk to the harbourside and the museum. It is also within walking distance to great restaurants. more

I booked my stay from the UK, via email and Dean and Jeff were quick and polite in their reply. Myself and my partner where moving to Wellington for work from the UK, but I was the "advanced party", arriving a month before and therefore did not want to say in a hotel. On my arrival Jeff came home at... more

In celebration of our fourth wedding anniversary, we thought we'd treat ourselves to a trip to Wellington. We were picked up at the airport and presented with wine, nibbles, and fine company. It was a very enjoyable weekend, and was the frosting on the cake that was that trip to Wellington. Very comfortable room and bathroom, clean and airy. It... more

We decided to stay at City Bed and Breakfast based on the reviews on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed. The place was beautiful and tasteful yet warm and homey. Dean's welcome was wonderful. We spent our first hours in Wellington discussing Australian and New Zealand politics over well chosen wine and nibblies. Calvin was, of course, the highlight and we... more

We had a fantastic stay. We were made to feel like guests staying at a friend's house rather than strangers in a hotel. This was our first stay at a Bed and Breakfast, and we made sure to book at others around NZ during our stay, based on the good experience we had here. Stayed there for 3 nights for... more

Jeff and Dean were the perfect hosts. A very comfortable place to stay with careful attention to detail. An advantage was safely garaging the car and not paying $25 per night to do so. Wellington was easily accessed on foot though it was a bit of a grunt up the hill but a beautiful spot. The walk up to the... more
