We recently had a 3-night stay in Wellington, our 3rd time to the city, and have finally found the perfect lodging!! Austinvilla offers every convenience a traveler needs in a beautifully-appointed but also logical and user-friendly self-contained apartment. It is in a well-located pleasant neighborhood within easy walking distance to all areas of downtown, and also included off-street parking. We... More

Stayed on the lower level of this restored home close to downtown and Mt.Victoria. A pretty place with a wonderful view. Nice patio and small garden to relax. The owner (Zarlie) was friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was wonderful (fruit, cheese, yogurt, jam, rolls and excellent coffee). A comfortable and very clean mini-apartment. Had dinner at the Ortega Fish Shack... More

Zarli met us and delivered just the right amount of information to make our stay memorable, friendly and helpful. We stayed in the smaller unit which met our every need. A wonderful tray was left in our room/fridge for our breakfast- absolutley delicious.Even extras like chocolate and fruit. The room was clean and cosy. The bonus for us was staying... More

We had a fantastic stay in the Studio Suite at Austinvilla Bed and Breakfast. The apartment was beautifully decorated and designed with a lot of thought and care, e.g. complimentary travel plug/adaptor for oversea guests. The location of the B&B is a perfect walking distance into the central part of the city, with plenty of nearby restaurants for an evening... More

We stayed for two nights in the Garden suite, so relaxing and tastefully done, with everything you would need. Zarli was very helpful, provided a lovely breakfast the night before, giving us flexibility. Laundry facilities were excellent, a huge help. Fruit and chocolate on arrival and quality toiletries made it feel special. Would have loved to have stayed longer.

We stayed in the Garden Suite and were welcomed by host Zarli. The Garden Suite is so well equipped, we wished that we were staying 7 nights instead of 2! Breakfast is delivered to your room during the previous evening and is lovely. Continental breakfast with a sumptuous fruit salad and is beautifully presented. We enjoyed sitting out in our... More

Central location within easy reach of waterfront but up a steep hill in case you are not mobile, which we are. Restaurants and cafés on the hill. Comfortable and roomy. Hospitable and helpful hosts. Generous continental breakfast. Loved the location and character of the house. Recommended.

We spent 3 nights in the Garden suite here when we first arrived in NZ and loved it so much that we decided to return for our final nights. The rooms are very large with separate living room, kitchenette & bedroom. It has a private grassy patio and garden where (if the weather is good) you can have breakfast. Our... More

We stayed in the garden suite and it was brilliant. Your host is really friendly with plenty of advice but not at all intrusive. The room itself is self contained with French doors in to a small garden. The room itself is clean and attractive with a lovely sitting area which gets the afternoon sun. The breakfasts work really well,... More

We stayed for 2 nights in the Garden Suite earlier this month and wished we could have stayed longer. Of the 10 different properties we stayed in during our 3 week touring holiday in New Zealand, all of which were very good, Austin Villa was the best. The combination of a self contained , spacious, well-furnished and spotlessly clean apartment... More
