Has everything you need - the only reason not 5/5 is the room was quite warm and has no air conditioning or fan so the only option was to open the window on the street side - which was too noisy to sleep with open

From outside the airport in the next street beyond the service station ( Broadway in Miranmar ) get a number 11 bus into Wellington ($5 adult ) get off at Willis Street. Central to everywhere, don’t need a car to discover Wellington from here. Although a handy parking station is right opposite the Hotel. Suggest visiting the Bank Building. Hotel... More

This is a little gem situated in Willis Street. Even though it is very basic and simple, the room was clean and roomy. The bathroom however was extremely tiny and hand basin behind the door made it very hard to clean teeth etc.... The staff are very helpful and pleasant. Once all the windows and doors are closed it is... More

Thank you for letting us know about your stay. We will pass your praises onto our staff. Unfortunately the down side to our spacious apartments is that the bathroom is combined with the laundry facilities making them more confined. We are glad you had a great night's sleep and look forward to your next stay with us. More

We were quite impressed with Astelia. It is very centrally located in walking distance to lots of activities, restaurants and bus stops (including the airport bus). The apartment itself is fully equiped with kichenette, washer/drying and tv with sky. We found it to be spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and accomodating, allowing bag storage before and after checkout.... More

The Astelia is centrally located and within easy walking distance to Weĺlington CBD and close to plenty of bars and restaurants. Directly opposite there is a great breakfast cafe and also a cool and cheap ethnic food court which opened late. The one bedroom apartment I had was quiet, clean and medium size. Bathroom was a bit cramped as the... More

Booked this room as part of a "mystery deal", hoping it was another luxury property. Despite it not being the one we wanted, the Astelia was in a great location, in good condition and for us very quiet and well appointed. We were in room 408 at the rear of the building which was peaceful and away from traffic noise.... More

Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay we are in a fantastic location. It is the gamble with the mystery hotels you get one of many properties which is why it is extremely reduced but good to see you like the apartment. We hope to have you return next time you are in Wellington. More

Stayed at the Astelia for 4 nights recently as I was in Wellington for a family wedding. Booked a studio apartment as I was travelling without my family. I have to say that the little studio apartment is impressive - has a mini kitchen including microwave and dishwasher. Bathroom had a washer dryer which was really handy. The location wasn't... More

I have stayed quite a bit in this apartment block. Key features are that it is centrally located to the city within easy walking distance. Very handy to cafes, nightlife, restaurants etc. Friendly staff on desk with fast check in. Rooms are well appointed with all necessities including kitchen and lounge facilities and reasonably comfortable bed. Clean and tidy. Can... More

Arrived late morning and receptionist extremely friendly - wasn't expecting my room to be ready but it was. Bit of a rabbit warren finding the room as you had to go through an exit door - then through another unmarked door but eventually found it. Room was as advertised - clean, tidy and well appointed Wi-Fi was part of my... More

I stayed here on a Friday night recently. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The check in process was enjoyable and easy. The room was clean and tidy. The price was very reasonable for central city accommodation. The location is within walking distance from cafes, restaurants and great shopping. It was quiet and pleasant. It makes a great base for... More
