The Astelia is centrally located and within easy walking distance to Weĺlington CBD and close to plenty of bars and restaurants. Directly opposite there is a great breakfast cafe and also a cool and cheap ethnic food court which opened late. The one bedroom apartment I had was quiet, clean and medium size. Bathroom was a bit cramped as the... More

Booked this room as part of a "mystery deal", hoping it was another luxury property. Despite it not being the one we wanted, the Astelia was in a great location, in good condition and for us very quiet and well appointed. We were in room 408 at the rear of the building which was peaceful and away from traffic noise.... More

Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay we are in a fantastic location. It is the gamble with the mystery hotels you get one of many properties which is why it is extremely reduced but good to see you like the apartment. We hope to have you return next time you are in Wellington. More

Stayed at the Astelia for 4 nights recently as I was in Wellington for a family wedding. Booked a studio apartment as I was travelling without my family. I have to say that the little studio apartment is impressive - has a mini kitchen including microwave and dishwasher. Bathroom had a washer dryer which was really handy. The location wasn't... More

I have stayed quite a bit in this apartment block. Key features are that it is centrally located to the city within easy walking distance. Very handy to cafes, nightlife, restaurants etc. Friendly staff on desk with fast check in. Rooms are well appointed with all necessities including kitchen and lounge facilities and reasonably comfortable bed. Clean and tidy. Can... More

Arrived late morning and receptionist extremely friendly - wasn't expecting my room to be ready but it was. Bit of a rabbit warren finding the room as you had to go through an exit door - then through another unmarked door but eventually found it. Room was as advertised - clean, tidy and well appointed Wi-Fi was part of my... More

I stayed here on a Friday night recently. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The check in process was enjoyable and easy. The room was clean and tidy. The price was very reasonable for central city accommodation. The location is within walking distance from cafes, restaurants and great shopping. It was quiet and pleasant. It makes a great base for... More

We had two nights at Astelia recently, good location on Willis Street, handy to lots of cafes, bars and restaurants and opposite the new food court. The young woman on the desk was lovely, welcoming and friendly. Our queen studio room was spacious and quiet, with a very comfortable bed, an armchair and a table with two dining chairs. One... Very welcoming staff who were efficient. Excellent room on the tenth floor giving views over Wellington CBD. Bathroom well laid out with a good shower. Nice large Queen size bed which was very comfortable. TV and LCD and easily accessible and able to be turned. Also the apartment hotel in Willis Street is central to all the good restaurants and... Stayed at Astelia for a single night transit through Wellington at the end of my holiday. The good - location. Short walk downhill to Cuba Street, the waterfront and Te Papa. There are lots of theatres in Wellington City Centre too. The Art Deco Embassy Theatre is the most famous but there are others. Room was well appointed, super clean... More

An easy to get anywhere site for city apartments!! Clean & comfortable with friendly front office staff, we were very pleased after initial hick up & given the wrong room on first night, & this was corrected next morning. Perfect for our 4 night stay in city for a family wedding.
