Definitely great value for money, and right in the centre of town. Facilities were good, well serviced, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Only issue was access to the property after hours. Need to go through nearby properties to access Lambton Quay, or else climb the Plimmer Steps or take a lengthy detour. Have stayed here before and will do so again. Location for access to motorway and Lambton Quay is excellent. Rooms are fine. I think the best thing about this place is the Front Desk staff, very helpful and charming. More

I have stayed at the Gilmer on a number of occasions and find the location great and the staff always friendly. It's a good place to stay and would recommend it for short stays. More
