I had a room which didn't face the street. It had a thick window glass but was more or less quiet, anyway. The room quality was very good for the price paid. The room was big enough, inviting, clean, the bed was good, free coffee&tea was provided. I could use a fridge. The breakfast was okay (not a buffet). Situation:... More

The Trinity is in an excellent location but can be noisy which is to be expected in Wellington CBD. Rooms are basic but comfortable. I got a very good deal and it was worth it. Staff at front desk were very friendly and excellent coffee shop adjoins the hotel. If you want cheap and cheerful in a great location then... More

Good location, easy walk to attractions. It's on a busy street so it can get very noisy at night. The bathroom is exceptionally big, like 40% of the room. The room itself is a bit ordinary. You have to pay for wifi, however mine was free with the hotel booking, which was good.

If all you need is a cheap bed for the night, then this is your place. This is just above a youth hostel. Furnishings are tired, stained and shabby. Staff friendly and accommodating. Next time I'll pay the extra for a better place.

I stayed here for one night during a weekend trip away. The special deal inclusive of continental breakfast (for two) was excellent, and hard to beat in Wellington city. Check out the various booking sites for the best deal. The guy who checked me in was friendly, efficient, and helpful. The room was small, well appointed, and more than adequate... More

We stayed for three nights and were pleasantly surprised. The staff were incredibly helpful, the hotel itself was in great condition and our room was lovely. Not a very scenic view but that's definitely not the end of the world. Really enjoyed our stay. Look out for the very well priced mini bar too - a bonus!

We stayed here for two separate nights late Feb and had the same room both times. Unfortunately there was a building aircon unit outside which meant we had to shut the window for quiet. This was OK as the weather was mild, but would be terrible if hot. The rooms are small and outdated, though the bathroom had been refurbished... More

We booked trinity Hotel for a one night stay. Greeted by very friendly and efficient receptionist, in our small, but more than adequate room (For the price) in no time. Bed is not comfy. Sheets are of inappropriate size for the bed. Shower room got molds. Walls got wall paper pulled off. The room we stayed is was like a dungeon! Trinity Hotel is not a hotel! It does not belong to that classification! I have stayed in different hotels here and abroad but sorry, Trinity Hotel.
