We stayed at the Trinity as part of our trip to Nelson, so being convenient to the CBD, Quayside and ferry terminals was a must. The Hotel was going through a bar renovation so that facility was not available but being so central bars/cafes/restaurants all within easy walking distance.

Car park is very compact and you have to ring the 0508 phone number to gain access, reserve your park when making your booking as there are not many parks. Room was basic, bathroom was clean and recently refurbished? There was a large gap under our entrance door which caused a draught but did light up the room at night.... More

We stayed here for about a week and it was really lovely. The room is basically exactly what you pay for, in that it was basic and quite small, but it was very clean and comfortable. Facilities were good. Wifi was actually free, but required a new login every couple of days. Was normally quite good too. This hotel really... More

Trinity is in the CBD. This is what you pay for. The rooms are very small and the bathroom/shower very small. The staff are amazing and are very helpful. But - some thought ought to go into the rooms. It was lovely to have a new electric blanket on the bed - but no so good to discover the cord... More

Very good. Comfortable, homely, offered all that I wanted and good location. Great staff. Enjoyed the friendly chats. I've been around in my time for business and pleasure and I was happy and enjoyed my stay. I'll be back.

Don't stay at this hotel. The only good thing about it is the location. Very pokey rooms. No room for suitcases, had to step over them at the end of the bed. Had to be careful opening the cupboard door as it was coming off the hinges. If we had ordered room service breakfast we would have had to sit... More

If you want to feel welcome in the city of Wellington do not come here! My name was spelt incorrectly!!! There was no welcome book in the room advising what the hotel's facilities are or what they recommend in the city. I paid $15 a day for car park where I had to call the main reception desk (note I'm... More

Dear Taylar-Ann Thank you for your feedback. I am very disappointed to read your comments. Our apologies for spelling your name incorrectly. There was no compendium in your room as we are reprinting new ones, apologies for this. By dialling 0, reception could have helped you with any queries you had. I was in Wellington to go to the Galipolli & Air NZ 75 Years exhibitions that were on at Te Papa Museum and wanted somewhere within walking distance of the museum and to Cuba Street and thought this hotel might do the trick. I arrived at 9pm and was checked in swifted by a very efficient and pleasant young woman.... More

When this place first opened it was great but rapidly started looking slightly shabby and is often not cleaned that well. The price is reasonably cheap however there are probably others that compete on price. Terrible for people who use wheelchairs

Good position with a good price quality ratio. Room service is good. My room was small but clean only a little bit noisy. only a few block from a pedestrian street. Many restaurants at only few minutes walk.
