The rooms were a tidy size. Not too small but not massive. The bathrooms are average. The pool, food and service tho are excellent. Best meals I've had in any hostel to be fair. There's a free bus that will take and pick you up into cairns city centre as it's a good 30 minute walk. Excellent price and a... More

Excellent location and well priced. Noise comes through from the bar next door depending on your room; ear plugs no match for the heavy base sound system. The excellent staff did manage to help me swap rooms. Clean. Good condition.

A clean and nice hostel in central Wellington. One of the best hostels that we have stayed at. The only negative thing I have to say about this is that the kitchen is quite small and that there are not many tables for dining. On the other hand, they offered a free meal every night in the bar next to... More

From turning up they were hospitable to deal with. Helping out with directions to anywhere in town was easy. If there was one thing wrong it was tbe beds were a little squeaky. Little oil would fix it right up. But all in all I have gone back many times and will do again.

I've stayed in a few hostels through Wellington and this was definitely the nicest as far as the building and rooms. The dorms were really spacious, the bathrooms were clean, and the hallways felt more like a hotel. The kitchen downstairs is really small but the living area with the couches and TV is cozy. I also appreciated the free... More

But if they want to be what they advertise there is some serious cleaning to be done. The building is old but well looked after. Well apart from the cleaning. Reception girl ( a redhead ) was super lovely and super helpful. Free tea and coffee to have at the 24 hours reception is nice, so is the free dinner... More

We were on the first floor and didn't get much noise. It is really central and easy location, right next to Cuba Street which has great places to eat (highly recommend Fidel's at the other end of Cuba Street to the hostel). The double bed was comfy, we had an en suite which was very clean and practical. The staff... More

This hostel was clean and good value for money; at first I was really pleased with it. However, I was given a room that backed right onto the bar - or perhaps it was directly above it? The music was so extraordinarily loud it felt like my mattress was vibrating with the bass and it roared on until 2am. I'm... More

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback on your stay with us. I'm really sorry to hear that you were affected by the noise from the bar, it is certainly very unusual for the bar to be open until 2am with 1am tending to be the very latest we are open even on a busier... More

Not a bad hostel, pretty much your usual big chain hostel. Very clean and well maintained. Cant complain. Was very comfy place. Only stayed two nights due them being fully booked due to an All Whites game. Was good location within walking distance from bars, restaurants and sights
