Location is fine, but our room was above a bar with loud music. Some of the personell was very unfriendly and I got kinda ripped of for the second night's stay, they increased the price by 16 dollars for an even bigger dorm. Unfortunately there was no other place left to stay so I had no option. I'd recommend an... More

Was very pleased with the Nomads Capital Hostel. We found rock star parking directly in front of the entrance. Our private room with a private bath was unexpected at a hostel as was the complimentary dinner. Best was the location: right off of Cuba Street. Food vendors line the mall and you can take your purchases right to the Waterfront... More

This hostel has a very good location in wellington. Harbour and the city are just around the corner. The bar next to the hostel is busy and gives a good opportunity to meet people. The rooms are nice and clean. Kitchen serves the purpose but is nothinh special. Had a good time there.

I found Nomads Capital to be an average mega hostel. It has tons and tons of rooms. I was only there for a night and flew out the next morning but it is close to the Te Papa museum which was great. They provide free breakfast and dinner but I didn't get to take advantage of either. It would be... More

Stopped for one night in a double room which was clean. Given a voucher for free meal in the bar which was bangers and mash, the vegetarian option......a plate of rocket leaves! At least it was free! Bar was good but the downside was the noise when we were trying to sleep

We stayed in a private room with ensuite facilities for 3 nights. The room was fine and although it was on 2nd floor it suffered from noise from the street in the evening. This is a busy hostel. 2 advantages: free pancake mixture between 7 and 9a.m. and basic free meal vouchers available between 5.30 and 6.30 pm for use... More

The Nomads Capital Hostel is a fine hostel with a excellent location! It's nearby many museum's and galleries, including the famous te Papa museum. Also it is located next to the always entertaining Cuba street, where something happens all the time. The rooms are big and clean, and the staff are very friendly and nice. Oh, and did I already... I stayed in this hostel for almost a week, I'll put it in pros and cons. Pros: - Friendly and helpful staff - great location - clean beds and toilets - nice lounge area - "free" pancakes for breakfast and "free" dinner- the dinner is pretty small, sometimes good (lasagna for example, sometimes not good (chips and salsa). Cons: -... More

We stayed here last week over the New Year in a 6 bed dorm. The room was spacious and clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is good close to all the shops and bars. The only complaint I would have was the heat in the room was unbearable at times. Would recommend people to stay here and I... More

Stayed in 6 bed dorm with a group of friends. We didn't try the free meal or breakfast but still a nice touch to offer. Bathroom was directly from our room which was grand, plenty of space. The bar next door was great for a few drinks. the only downfall is the heat in the rooms and the small windows.... More
