I stayed there for three nights. The location is very good. The rooms are quite big and clean. The kitchen has good facilities.. A nice common area with tv! Through the fact that alcohol is not allowed in the hostel it's quite quiet during the night.

Good hostel, good location, free tea and coffee, free evening meal each day!! Close to water and close to bars and shops. Good beer pong comp in the blend bar attached to the hostel too on Wednesdays with 100$ bar tab prize :) only downside is common area isn't too big to hang out in and kitchen is tiny so... More

I've stayed at Nomads Capital maybe 7 times, always in the 4-bed female dorms, and keep coming back every time I'm in Wellington. The hostel has a great location, close to all the action on the waterfront and on Cuba St, and bus transport on Manners St, and it's also right across the street from the Wellington iSite - perfect!... Normal enough hostel, but even on a Thursday night the bar underneath is pumping and it is LOUD - so would not come again if I was planning to sleep before 2. Earplugs at the desk, limited use though.

I stayed in February and rooms were so uncomfortably hot and stuffy despite a useless fan. Cramped dorm rooms with little space. Music on extremely loud until late but no real social atmosphere to get people involved to join in with this. Pancakes in the morning are good if you beat the rush to cook them. Stay not particularly friendly... More

We were really satisfied with Nomads in Wellington. The staff was really helpful and accessible at any time of the day. You get one free voucher per day to the bar next door where you can have a snack meal and you have the opportunity to fry your own pancakes in the morning; awesome. The rooms are clean and modern,... Nice clean friendly backpackers, comfy beds and a great vibe, very central to everything. Ave around $30 a night with break breakfast and free snack meal can't go wrong really. Does charge for internet but the street has free wifi, has the best showers ever and TV room showing films whenever you want Met some kl people here

The good thing about this hostel is that it's very central and you can walk to almost anywhere easily. The rooms I stayed in were en suites and the beds were pretty comfortable. They also have pretty decent wi-fi (it's Global Gossip so $4 for 24 hours). It's pretty fast considering how many people are in the hostel. The bad... More

Nomads Captial was a nice hostel, but there were a few things that didn't make it stand out for me. The positives were things like the free breakfast/dinner. Really nice. However, the kitchen is so small compared to the amount of people staying there, it took me about 15 minutes to wait until a frying pan was free for me... More

Hello Rhian, thank you for your comments. It is good to see that you made the most of our free meals on offer. One of the reasons for offering the free light evening meal is to decrease congestion in the kitchen during dinner time. Its good to see that you met some nice people while you were here. We like...
