We stay in Wellington on the average of 4 - 5 times a year and have stayed at many hotels and for staff, location and helpfulness, cleanliness and best of all cost effective, we would certainly stay with Abel Tasman Hotel again. Thanks guys much appreciated.

This hotel is in a great location walking distance to the centre of town. the rooms are very clean and the staff helpful. There is a good range of food for breakfast with toast (range of breads etc), cereal, juice etc.

Though we only stayed one night it was most comfortable and central to all our requirements. Staff were very welcoming on arrival. Had dinner in the onsite Bistro - very palatable. Was a bit noisy due to the early morning cleanup of the city but that was quite acceptable for us for we were in the middle of the city.

Not bad location, I stayed at this place because it was good price. Downstairs the decor is old and tired. The food during conference was unattractive, not too healthy, service was average. Rooms are quite good, nothing special.

The hotel is a great location in the city centre and within walking distance of quite a few sightseeing sites, shopping, and restaurants. The room was nice and had a comfortable bed. The room could have used a little more decoration, just seemed a bit dull.

We spent 4 nights at the Abel Tasman, found we could walk to museums, waterfront and restaurants. Hotel probably needs a little update, but staff were friendly and it's location makes it a good base when visiting Wellington.
