Brilliant Location to explore central Wellington from, surrounded by great restaurants within easy walking distance. Underground secure parking $20 per night. NO FREE WIFI. Really? In this day and age? NO AIRCON. Had to open all the windows to keep the room cool enough....making it a noisy night on the 5 th floor. Clean, tidy abit dated.

This is a decent hard-working hotel located in a good location on the corner of Dixon and Willis. You can catch the Airport Flyer to Manners and Willis and walk a few meters to the hotel. Even with our many bags it was no trouble. On arrival direct from the airport on a Friday lunchtime we were faced with a... More

The loby is quite promising but after that you'll be disappointed with almost everything. The rooms are just old and runned down. Even the makeover of the bed-tops can't hide the fact that the matresses are completely worn out. The rest of the enterior is unpleasent to look at but clean. You can't turn off the noisy airsuck in the... More

Booked a room special online which was easy, the rooms looked really modern and clean. We were given a room on the 7th floor which was okay size but the bathroom was gross not clean at all. The temperature was outrageous as soon as we arrived about 6pm we called down to say it was unbearably hot and were offered... More

After reading recent reviews my expectations were rather high however I was very disappointed with this hotel. We had a tiny, very basic room for the three of us, parking for our two nights stay was 50 dollars extra and Wifi had to be paid as well. Saturday night was very loud, as it seemed there was a bar right... More

We paid $300 & something for 2 nights in a very roomy suite. Included parking. Location is excellent. Easy walking to & from all Wellington has to offer. Happy hour is great. The room was very clean & tidy. Only minus is that the rooms are not air conditioned, so had to leave windows open. Street noise at night did... More

We stayed here for two nights in January for the Sate Capital Classic Ocean Swim. The hotel is tidy and clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. The location is perfect, an easy walk to CBD, shopping, Te Papa, the waterfront and restaurants. The weather was very hot and there was no air conditioning in the rooms but at... More

We have stayed here a couple of times before so we knew what to expect. for $109 for the 2 of us it's a bargain. It's not a flash place neither is it a dive. clean, tidy, nice decor and the receptionist ( french lady ) was very good. the only down side is the shower in the room s... More

Centrally located within short walking distances to Cuba Mall, Lambton Quay and Courtney place isn't bad and good value for money. Happy hour in the hotel bar runs for a generous 3 hours. Car parking at the hotel is limited and you can't pre-book a space until you arrive???

I have to say, my first impression was good. Lovely lobby, with capable and friendly staff. I had a room with a double and single bed. However, the double felt like two singles pushed together. I couldn't "starfish" without having a mattress edge down my spine. The TV only had a few channels that were fuzzy - perhaps it had... More
