We loved this cosy hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the decor was great and super comfy bed (even if it was two single beds put together!) The room was clean and welcoming and we had everything we needed. We were up on the 6th floor away from the lifts which was nice and quiet. Very close to cuba... More

I stay here every month for business and always enjoy my stay. I book the conference room as well so if you're looking for a meeting room then this is a good option. The staff are great, the hotel is excellent value for money and in a great location. Rooms are always clean.

We really liked this hotel! It was central, clean and tidy. We would definitely stay here again. The staff at the front desk were enormously helpful to us, if there was anything we needed they saw to it straight away. We have been on a bit of a trip around NZ but this was by far the best hotel we... More

On arrival at our room the window was open a wee bit which was good. However it was deathly cold, there is no air conditioning, no electric blankets on the bed, and the only heating was a pathetic panel heater on the wall. We went to the restaurant downstairs hoping to come back to a warm room, but no! We... More

My sister and I stayed in a standard twin share room, the room was very tidy and comfortable for the price and included free wi-fi. We booked here for a girls night out/last night in Wellington. It's conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and Courtenay Place. The hotel reception staff were all very lovely and accommodating, we booked... More

This is a really good value hotel in central Wellington. it is easy walking distance from Cuba street and the waterfront/museum area. It was very reasonably priced compared to other options we looked at. Rooms are quite big, clean and comfortable, although the mattresses were a bit bouncy! decent showers. Staff were helpful and can organize you a NZD20 airport... More

4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2014

We stayed here two nights in July. Good rooms, not modern, but very clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. Price is good value, but location is the best feature - three minutes walk to Cuba Street, five minutes to Courtney Place and all that both places offer. Under cover parking is limited and very tight spaces, but at $20... More

The staff are all well trained in all aspects of their job. We lacked for nothing. Clean, tidy and spacious rooms. Reasonably close to all parts of town. Easy access in and out to find. Ring first to see if there are discounted rooms.

We stayed here in July 2014. We wanted to be in central Wellington with a car park. It was ideal. Close to all the action, very clean, well priced, great staff...what more do you want. Considering you can pay nearly $100 for a room with bathroom in a backpackers in Wellington CBD this was amazing value.
