Nice, simple rooms in a great location for a great price. The room was clean, well presented and modern. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking was easy. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

A long weekend in Wellington with adult son. Good location & Triple room was large for everyone. No bath, only a shower. there was a charge for wifi. Free wifi is an expectation now. Staff friendly & helpful. There was some noise from other rooms.

This hotel was in a central part of Wellington and had a lovely (but VERY expensive) restaurant. We were allocated a small room with an extra bed taking up way too much space. We did not have any room for our luggage and had to store our suitcases on this spare bed. The bed we had was comfortable though. The... More

Hotel not far from the center of town and the university is up the hill.... Some steep steps and you are there. Welcoming front entrance and helpful front desk staff. Hotel was clean and the lifts readily available. Rooms everything you need for an overnight stay and the option of a triple room (3 x singles) was a bonus. Sound... More

This hotel is situated on a corner in the middle of a one way system. This makes it difficult to find for stranger to the city. Frustrating. WE were charged $25 dollars for the privilege of parking in a very small underground car park. A lovely receptionist welcomed us and when we said we were surprised there was no free... More

This hotel is nowhere near as good as it ought to be for $200 a night. It is little more than a backpacker's place and certainly less fun. Our room had walls so paper thin that I could hear every syllable and consonant of the banter between the blokes in the next room. The bathroom was clean but otherwise awful... More

Stayed here over a weekend in march. Good sized rooms and comfortable beds. Hotel situated very centrally so easy to walk around places like cuba street and central Wellington. Only real issue was street noise. Would definitely use again.

I have stayed in Abel Tasman just one night. The facilities were clean and the room was large enough; but corridor could be a little bit noisy sometimes. Had no problem putting my bike into their underground car park, but not free of charge of course. Arrived very late due to Bluebridge ferry delay from Southern Island, no problem of... More

Stayed the night recently and would recommend this hotel. Handy to town so easy to walk where we wanted to go. Restaurant pleasant and good menu. Parking our vehicle was a bit tricky, limited spaces available and a tight fit.

Not bad for a city centre hotel, clean with good friendly staff, and although it looks a bit aged that's OK for such an established hotel. The location is spot-on, very central for eating, drinking and shopping. Main reason for not higher than average rating is that the rooms were stuffy and quite hot in early March - without air...
