Me and my girlfriend stayed two nights at the hotel, and was pretty good! The room was very tidy, the bathroom was ok, and the bed was good. The only problem was just two pillows for the whole queen bed. The best part of the hotel is the really helpful people from the front desk and the breakfast hostress. Recommended.

Yeah. What can I say. Small rooms, but you have to walk thru a odd odour before you get to it. Yuck. Pillows flat and lifeless, very well worn furnishings. TV remote was broken ( you couldn't turn it down, Bedside lamp didn't work. Staff were the only saving grace. They were very attentive and pleasant.

The staff were very friendly during our 3 day stay. We were on the 5th floor and had great views. The sun rising over the harbour and the mist in the morning were spectacular. The room we stayed in was clean and cosy with basic amenities. I will definitely stay here again. thank you

A reasonable if basic hotel that would suit for short stays. Away from the main cbd, you will need a at as I don't recall seeing any buses. Basic features in room was clean but putting 2 singles beds together and calling it a queen doesn't make it. No room service and the restaurant only does breakfast. Lobby wifi is... More

On a one way roading system makes heading west to Brooklyn interesting. Close to cafes in Aro St & Cuba St. Only supplies breakfast on site. Clean & comfortable room. One lift to service 5 floors. Great views of the harbour & city from our room. Good deal with booking.com

This "hotel" is akin to a student hall of residence, My room was cheaply and poorly furnished. It had plenty of mystery stains and the whole feel of the place was cheap and run down. Extremely disappointing as I'd had a high expectation given it was a Mercure. This place needs a serious renovation. I would definitely not stay here... More

I will never stay there again, I found the front desk staff unhelpful and mean. Make sure you ask not to be put in a room by the lift you won't sleep, and even if you request that they may put you in there anyway and then you have to complain and get moved. You only get two pillows for... More

We arrived in Wellington on a rainy Sunday afternoon, collected our car, set the GPS to take us to Willis Street to the "Mecure" We found that there was not a Mecure and the numbering on the address was no existant. Found a good offer through Expedia and stayed for a few days to explore Wellington. Had a very satisfactory stay - the room was basic, but had everything we needed, spotlessly clean and amazing view over the city.
