This facility shows that Wellington welcomes visitors, particularly those who are travelling and touring the country. It is an excellent idea to accommodate motorhomes in the heart of the city and provide the basic facilities - power, fresh water, private toilets (2), several private and spacious shower/toilet rooms including one that is disabled accessible. Bookings can be made online and... More

If you're expecting a holiday park don't stop here. It is ideal if you are: a. going to a show, b. going to a major sporting event c.wanting to see Wellington's attractions, d. catching a ferry early in the morning. Ten minutes to the stadium, 15 to 20 minutes to the theatres, 15 to Te Papa, 5 minutes to bus... More

We originally booked in for 4 night, but swiftly checked out after 1! We arrived Sunday afternoon and the reception was closed, and due to the extremely heavy rain, we were unable to check in using the touch screen computer as the rain was landing on the screen and pressing various letters etc die to the lack of proper shelter.... We stayed 2 nights here and I must say I was surprised. We had an early crossing so its ideal if you have an 8am crossing. Ok - Yes its a car park. Yes it can be noisy. BUT Location was great, Showers and toilets clean, and easy to get to services What it needs though is a laundry -... More

DO NOT STAY HERE! We unfortunately did not do our research on this one, as we were getting a 7pm ferry and booked it via their website. Its basically just a open air car park. There is no fence, people just walk through the parking bays at all hours of the night. There is no stopping people from taking out... More

A wonderful location that is as good as any city centre hotel to see Wellington from. Right on the rejuvenated waterfront so you can walk to bars and restaurants. Just a bit further in either direction takes you to everywhere in central Wellington: Te Papa museum, House of Parliament, cable car to Botanic Gardens…Recommended. Sites are oversized parking spaces with... More

$50 for 24hours in a crappy noises carpark!! A real ripoff!! Is this the best Wellington City has to offer for campervanner/motorhomers for tourist and travelling New Zealanders!! Shameful. The guy there is abrupt&rude. Don't accept his advise to go to Top10 Lower Hut which is expensive too!! Travellers go 20kilometres north to Mana and park at the Ngatitoa Domain.... More

This is exactly what people should expect, a motorhome carpark in the middle of the city. Yes, it's just a carpark but it's right on the waterfront in the most happening area of downtown wellington. Cuba street is a few blocks away, that's where the most nightlife happens. $50 for one night was a bit steep for essentially a parking... More

Yes, it is just a car park. We stayed for two nights off the ferry from Picton. Wellington CBD is literally a 10 minute walkaway. Other motorparks are on the outskirts so this motorpark is by far the best for exploring the town. Yes it is a bit expensive, but you don't have to worry about tranpsort/parking while you're touring... More

I don't really know what to say, this is a bloody car park! We booked this on the internet on the somewhat misguided tip from a fellow traveler, OMG, I'm never ever doing that again, I was absolutely appalled when we arrived to find we are on the main road into the City, and paid $100 for the pleasure! Ok,... More
